I would hope our 'leaders' have a little sense and can negotiate with other
countries, like diplomats, and reach agreements.

Instead Joe wants in addition to his proxy war against Russia, to escalate
that maybe into something nuclear, maybe, and a war against Iran, and
    a war against China.

We can't fight China over Taiwan because we both agree with the 'one
China policy, that Taiwan is part of China. So we are going to have to
    think of another reason.

If the object of govt is to frighten people, then our govt is doing a great job.

Obama wouldn't ship weapons to Ukraine, right next to Russia, on at least
one occasion, and was ridiculed for 'sending blankets', even though his own
state department did regime change in Ukraine.

Trump blocked a weapons shipment we were going to send to Ukraine,
wanted to know what the Biden family was up to in Ukraine, and got
articles of impeachment raised against him for obstructing the course of war.

That is not the America we know and love; the America of 'give 'em lead'.

Trump hasn't read the Constitution. Doesn't mean you shouldn't. Congress controls the power of the purse, not the President. Even his own WH admitted that his withholding was "likely illegal." Doing nothing about Russia's fascist invasion would probably end up being far more expensive than it is to help our allies defend themselves against said fascist invasion.

We have been engaged in proxy war with Russia since 1945. Joe Biden didn’t start proxy war with Russia.

Conflict with Russia comes and goes.

Back in 1917 while the US was developing natural resources and taking investments
to buy necessary capital equipment, the Russian Empire was in exactly the same
situation. My understanding of the 1917 Russian Revolution was the US President
ordered Trotsky to receive a US passport to travel from the US via Canada to
    meet Lenin.

The logic behind this is simple. A communist Russia would not compete for capital
    against the US.

But history is taught to inspire the public to do whatever is current US govt policy.

The public is kept marching to the same anti Russia drum beat even though it
doesn't make any sense at present, while the media is trying (probably in vain)
to pivot public opinion to a war with China.

So we know our masters want a war with China but for now will keep us busy
in a proxy war against Russia.

We shouldn't but if we held ourselves to that, there'd be no one to vote for come this fall.

If Russia would behave itself, we would not have such problems. Unfortunately the history of the country has been a semi-civilized rouge state that is backward and incapable of becoming a good world citizen.

The one who wants the most wars and wants to further expand the war in Ukraine
is Joe Biden and the neocons - A Blinken, Jack Sullivan, Et Al.

Nobody else is as bad, but starting wars is what gives favorable media coverage,
so this election could be a tough one for any sane candidate, that's all of them
    except Joe and the neocons.

If Russia is not stopped, the Russian army will continue to march to English Channel and then in the United Kingdom. Even with that Russia will not be satisfied.

Not President Biden, he was VP at the time. Feb 2014, he just signed off on the regime change that started it all

IIRC the Putin = Napoleon theory was created by the CIA, they audience tested it and it did very well, so they spread it around.

Your delicate and easily-terrified nature is not anyone else's problem.

Putin, of course, approves of how you act. His fingerprints are all over the campaign to wimpify America.

It is our media that frightens US residents into agreeing to ever increasing 'defense' budgets-

The US 2023 'defense' budget of $813.3 billion is 40% of the entire world's defense budgets
put together, and with Biden and the neocons in charge it still isn't enough.
