Not to brag or be overly curious, but I like to show and know what people are using in term of computer and what they use them for. First: I use this one mainly for video capture and transcoding but I also code on it. The two nvidia card in sli does have a great impact on transcoding. Also has Windows 7 and Linux on it. iMac 21.5" i3, 500gb hard drive, 16 gig of ram, ProBox 4x Hard drive enclosure (with 4x 2 terrabytes HDD) My third one is: Used mostly on the road as a web/php/mysql/postgresql coding machine. Also has Linux (Mint) in a VM. MacBook Core2Duo, 120gig hard drive, 4 gig of ram. My fourth: This one is my HTPC/Media Server runing Windows 7 and my own HTPC frontend. I use FlexRaid on it as a precaution from data loss (one extra 2 terrabytes HDD is used for the parity data). AMD Phenom X2, 4 gig of ram, 14 terrabytes of hard disk space (7x 2 terrabytes) for the media and a 250gig for the OS, NVidia GTX450.
