Ultimately, the problem with that stance is that at best, it's a false equivocation to the online bullying they're getting in response. At WORST, it's a refusal to condemn the online bullies because they happen to agree politically with said bullies and condemning the parents is trying to attempt a virtue-signalling way out of that.

It still boils down to the same problem. What the parents and the child did is absolutely legal. Mocking a politician is absolutely legal. But - what the people doxing said child and her parents are doing is absolutely ILLEGAL.

That fake news got them banned. It could have the script of the parents that caused them to be banned as well

Believe it or not, parents DO pass their beliefs onto their children. On both "sides".

The only thing I find fault with is that the parents should have seen this coming. I hope the little girl is quick enough to learn that the internet can be a harsh place and is not bothered by the reactions from internet jerks.

I never intended to equate the bullying with what I consider improper guidance. That said, parents need to know this, and be prepared for it.

FYI, I worked in a lab at Ft Monmouth many years ago, and we had access to bulletin boards, before the Internet, and one group that caught my attention was a Barney the dinosaur hate group. People need to be aware of such things and know to walk away from it.

 

That is a completely ridiculous argument. The child is not "working" and there is nothing illegal about a child making money. Do you see lemonade stands as child labor as it pertains to the law?

Personally, my child would receive any money made....or at the least, it would be put into a college fund. However, even if the parents kept any money made, I'm sure they spend a lot of their own money on the child.

 

Her videos were right on. She's a darling little girl. Quite telling that the left has no tolerance for humor to the point of threatening a little girl and her family's lives because she dare to disparage the dumbshit AOC. The little girl is far more mature than AOC.
