Here's what I do know. (And I think it's accurate) When I try and access the site and get the (dreaded) vbulletin message, that means nobody, nowhere can get on. But often I get a "PF has timed out" message, but also get the same message for say.....trying to log onto "cragislist". ('Course there is says, "craigslist has timed out", 'cause otherwise it'd be too weird) So. When it's a "timed out" thing.....is that my computer or still problems originating with PF? (This laptop is newer, but still old by most standards) Anybody know?
If one is having issues connecting to, or staying connected to PF, and PF only, it is site related (server issue). In the situation you described, timing out /connectivity issues with multiple sites, it's an issue best addressed by your ISP. Good luck
