Not sure what happened to our forecast today... it was supposed to clear up by noon and get up to 65 tomorrow. It's colder'n a well-digger's butt out there -- and looks like it could snow! WTF... I'm going home!!!

    *dances to CCR*

Make sure you do a lot of dishes from scratch and not warmed up out of the can junk..:-D
You have to cook those beans all day and no, no, on opening a can. Canned beans are not allowed. You will be a hit.

I haven't been to Kerrville in years. Maybe it is time to go.
When we bought the wood from the guy selling mesquite I was handpicking the prettiest pieces and he was letting me..lol. He was really nice. Texans are like that.

Shots are a pain but you are better for having them.

I often wonder if big companies like Wilson wouldn't go for the advertising advantage and donate sporting goods to places like that. It would be a a feather in their cap if they did.

Good morning everyone. Time to rise and shine. Well last nights storm has passed and the 6 to 8 inches of snow that we might have gotten turned out to be only 1/2 of an inch instead. There is also supposed to be a cold front with it but it is 16 degrees outside right now and that means that it will be it the upper 30's today. This is the mildest winter I have ever seen here. Of course it is playing h.e.l.l with the skiing industry. But tghat is OK. So time to dig in and enjoy breakfast. Have a really great day all.

Morning y'all....soupy out today. I think this is what pilots call "socked in". Couldn't see three feet in front of the truck on the way to work. It's a strange feeling being in the midst of all that fog and feeling like you're the only one on the road.....until you barrel up behind somebody driving 10 because they're afraid of the fog. Just sayin'....

I think I'll start a protest of fog...LOL Seems there's a protest for just about everything else, so why not?

I'd like a BLT on whole wheat, hold the Mayo.
No Bacon and double wash the lettuce with perrier water.
Sliced Tomato { To Ma Toe } that's had a close shave at the barbers.
Make sure the whole wheat is crisp to the touch.
Plus instead little toothpicks I want a few Cocktail umbrella.

    Breakfast is still being served.
The store policy is NO Lunch until Breakfast has ended.
I can't be seen breaking any rules.

Food court on 5th floor makes a decent BLT, but it's EXPENSIVE for breakfast... nearly $5. Who's gonna pay $5 for a breakfast sammich? Not me.

Breakfast sammich. That's yer mistake right there.Who ever heard of
a Mom or a Grandma or even Ma Kettle fixin up breakfast sammichs.
I suppose you want the sammich on a nice tray with flowers and
folded napkin, and maybe some little gourmet jars of jam or chutney.
hay ... this ain't the Ritz.
You'll eat what Ma fixes and yer like it or else.
Just so happens Today's menu is Mush.
    Mush and more mush.

We're not talking about granny's kitchen, Fool. We're talking about people who have real jobs. Except for a few lawfirms, most businesses don't hire cooks to cater to their staff.

LOL, reminds me of working temp for a lawfirm once who did have a maid. She even wore the little black & white maid's uniform and cooked lunch for everybody. Also kept the coffee pot going and cleaned up behind them. Nobody should wonder why lawyers charge so much... they do enjoy living the good life!

LOL...or BOTH? We don't get Presidents Day, or a lot of the other "government" holidays because they're saved up til the end of the year for our nice Christmas break. It's worth it, too. Our next day off will be in March, the Friday of Spring break.
