Yeah ... I know how tough it is today.
    Used to be when someone whistled it was on account a siren { sexy gal }
was walking by.Now people whistle because all the dog whistles
    have sold out.

They'd only need to whistle in the dog park... rest of the time they have to be strung up... why would you whistle for a dog on a leash?

Um ... I dunno.Andrew Breitbart said a month before his death at
CPAC that he had a *Dog Whistle A Dog Whistle FACTORY.

    * Or Dog-whistle politics. The use of code words or language employed to
mean one thing to the general population but has a different or more specific
meaning for a targeted subgroup of the audience.
Um ... there IS an audience here.Right.
I mean ... not like Old Yahoo boards and I was 2nd banana to even the
    Cabana boys.

I'm feeling a little special right now.I just got thru watching
the METV Special honoring 100 years of Loretta Young.
With episodes of her - The Loretta Young Show -.
Miss Young was very special. Not just because she was a
big Hollywood actress who was as sweet and pretty as they come.
But she was a Saint inside. As dignified and charming to everyone
as humanly possible. She was truly a Great American.
When she smiled it was authentic and Saintly. Her glamorous
often sad eyes could light up almost instantly.
Near perfect facial features. But again it was her inside,
her heart that seperated her from almost every other Pretty
actress in Hollywood. With a few exception.Like Shirley Temple and
    maybe Grace Kelly.Audrey Hepburn !
I feel somewhat priviledged to be a Kid when the likes of this
Humble,Sweet and caring Hollywood Icon was around.
There will never be another like her.
In fact it's now an Impossibility.Which is good in a way.And that
many who post here have no idea who Loretta Young was.
Which is good.Because if they did, they would know real depression.
That someone with that Greatness of character and bright
sunny goodness will never be seen again in this Land of Plenty.
I am both elated and overwhelmed with subtle sadness.
    I Swear to God.

She was a true lady alright, Foolie. Not long ago, some cable channel ran a Loretta Young marathon and I watched one after the other for a whole afternoon. Her sashaying into the room was the absolute best part... but the mini stories she hosted were enjoyable too. I share your admiration. ;)

Hmmm about the Dog Whistle. Never heard the term before... thx for the lesson. I'll have to do some homework. :worship:

Okey Dokey. No charge this time. But I'm half contemplating having
a service provided c/o this Pop Stand.
For a reasonable nominal FEE ,Posters can get detailed INFO and or
juicy scuttlebutt with a click of a tab.
Kinda like a Dear Abby or an Ask Abby.Just set up an account
and each click will be billed acccordingly.
    I mean why not.
Maybe that would get the attention of Kelly.
    Miss Kelly.Nurse wannabe.

Panera bread is over rated in my opinion, yea the food is healthy but so is subway. Don't think the extra price is worth it because the quality is not that much better than subway, although it is a bit better.

Subway needs to have an option for toasting their Bread.
The bread is TOO mushy. It is my expert opinion to steer clear of expensive
gourmet breads. They almost always are poorly perpared and baked.
They ends of having too many ingredients { herbs } and the dough isn't
properly formed.Learning the art of good bread making takes erpertise.
Just staring a Gourmet Bread store with fancy bread names and
prices doesn't cut it.There is only one way to properly prepare and bake bread.
The correct way.The dough has to have Tender loving care in it's recipe.
It has to sit for the right amout of time.Be kneaded correctly and baked at the
right temp for the correct amount of time.

    'mornin, y'all. Happy MLK Day.

I agree about Subway's bread, Foolie. Met a gal online recently who works in their regional office and when I complained about the bread she told me to order the bread hollowed out. Seems kinda wasteful, but makes for a better sandwich. I like Arby's market sandwiches. Y'all have Arby's where you live?

Watched about 3 min of the day's festivities and turned it off. Who needs to be reminded it's the most depressing day of the year? :(

    Let's drink. I'll start.

You can get food just as good at the supermarket deli..IMO. I don't care for Panera. We had a Cheddars open here, one of my first visits was a disaster but I gave it another try and was pleasantly surprised.. Good food at a good price.
