So I decided to try Bing as a search engine (my latest rebellion against Google, lol), anyway, no Google Toolbar or queries via Google.

Although I must admit, I am less than impress with Bing's search results, and miss a couple things about the toolbar, one thing I have discovered is an absence of annoying advertisement with YouTube music videos.

Perhaps I've only been lucky, but it certainly seems different... and I'm liking it.

Different browser too. IE9 as opposed to FF, although I know that has nothing to do with the ad's. I find IE as responsive, if not more so, and I don't have to switch between browsers to access my account for my mobile service website (something that plagued me with FireFox).

Okay, just though I'd share. :p LOL

I too, never really had an issue with it (IE). Decided a couple years ago to give FF a shot, and just kinda got used to it. But could never resolve the conflict between it and access to a couple online accounts.

I think FF is good, but for me, the new experience with IE is so far very good.

Safari is neat but a bit too busy for me. I have tried several but always come back to IE.

Well, it appears as though no one wants to come out and play, so I suppose I will venture to the supermarket (grrrrrrr). ...one of my favorite things.

I guess Smartie is sulking over the Cowboys getting their azz kicked. Kimi is probably rushing to the office (late again, lol jk, jk) ... and Falena... well, I have my thoughts as to what she may be engaged in right now, but I'll not mention it. LOL

Anyway, you guys have a good Monday!

I was putting pine cones, that I took off a tree we lost, on the Christmas tree we set up in the bedroom. I wanted a tree in the bedroom this year and one downstairs. I got the tree in the bedroom decorated all natural. Just those small colored lights are not natural and the cotton I pulled apart to put on the ends of some branches to look like snow. I put some feathers and pinecones on it. I started a new tradition for us. Christmas tree in the bedroom from now on. Its very cool.

LOL jk, I think it's a great idea, seriously! For those that may not know...wrapping boa's (feathers) around the tree is a long standing Italian tradition!

    'mornin, y'all and Happy NYE!

Yeah, the Cowboy's loss was heartbreaking, but look at it this way... I've got the whole off-season to slap Falena around for celebrating our loss a little too much. Looks like I'll have to continue my curse on her Jets!

(Don't worry, Tony honey... you're still tops in my book!)

    *cries*

LOL, we've got a very realistic looking artificial fir tree we keep decorated for every season in my area at work. We call it our 'urban greenspace' It's only about 3 ft tall and stands under the counter near the dept secty's cubicle. After Christmas, we'll have it decorated with snowflakes... then change it to hearts for Feb, Easter stuff for spring, etc.

Maybe you should look for a realistic looking 50% off tree for your bedroom? Spray can of pine scent and you're all set!

Box of crayons and some wall space. Call in the neighborhood rugrats. Bake cookies.
    Who needs a tree?

After Christmas, call the parents for a paint party.
    Bake brownies
    Voila.

When I was growing up the tradition was the Christmas tree could never be up on New Years day. Old habits die hard, my Christmas trees always came down the day after Christmas.. Out with the old in with the new and all that good stuff. I guess it was a southern thing.

Hmmmm, not a southern thang, Daise. In my family, it was considered bad luck to take the tree down before the 1st. Mine's still up... tonight will be it's last gasp.

Gotta big pot of blackeyed peas with lots of onions, garlic and a big ole hambone simmering on the stove. Cold & rainy NYE in Big D. Wonder if it's too early to start drinking? Um, I mean celebrating?
