    Happy Father's Day to all the dads! Mine just came by to pick up his presents. .. a nice meals on wheels (pork roast, fresh purple hull peas, squash, mac & cheese, watermelon, cantaloupe and two pieces of banana nut cake.) Another pkg with a card and box of his fav chocolates. You'd think the guy would gain a lb or two... but as much as I try to fatten him up, he walks it off on the golf course. Weighs 130 soaking wet. LOL

    Enjoy your day, dads! ♥

    What was it other than rather confronting a mugger than a grizzly?

    Smartz, we must have the same Dad. Mine could eat like a horse and never gain a pound. Walked whenever and wherever possible and worked hard.

    Alligator, Shang. Anything other than a mugger in the big city would scare me!

    Yep, dad's never still. Even if he watches golf on tv, the min a commercial comes on, hes outside with the dog. The man just cant sit still. Prob why hes still spry at 87.

    Be forewarned.

    No, they like moms, they just want women to be barefoot and preggers in the kitchen.

    And turnabout is not fair play.

    Have you tried fullers earth or diatomaceous earth? Use a mask when you are spreading it around. It isn't poisonous, you just shouldn't breathe it. Best thing to do if you get around where chiggers is to take a bathe right away and wash really good. If you are bitten use benadryl or another anti-histamine.

    How about we just drop chauvinists and feminists from the vocabulary and revert back to the time when there wasn't such a thing?

    I'm not so sure. I'd love to drop both labels but to revert to time where there wasn't such a thing, well, that was when women didn't have the vote.

    the term Feminism originated in France during the 1800s.

    Chauvinism French chauvinisme, from Nicolas Chauvin, character noted for his excessive patriotism and devotion to Napoleon in Théodore and Hippolyte Cogniard's play La Cocarde tricolore (1831) and was first used in 1851.

    I think if you check 'bipolar weather' they automatically put you in Texas. Wonder what you'd have to answer to get Oklahoma? ;)

    That was roughly around the 1960s or so.

    Not A time I want to go back to. Maybe visit out of nostalgia, but not back to the way things were.

    Edit:

    Oh, and if you switch the e and the a in Texas, you get taxes.

    seriously considering a Bachelor's Day
    I mean, John Forsythe { born Jacob Lincoln Freund } was a pretty neato
    Pop.A Father,of sorts.A Daddy to his Niece.Well kinda.
    And Tom Hanks ushered-in his movie acting career with - Bachelor Party -{1984}
    And George Clooney is a Batch.Has been for the last 20 years.Just saw
    - The Monuments Men - { 2014 } directed by Clooney.It was Good.

    I have seen no mention of any of Clooney insisting on a Prenuptial Agreement
    or Prenup.California is notorious for their Community Property { 50/50 split }
    Law.I believe Actor Lee Marvin made huge headlines when his girlfriend
    tried to claim his assets after their breakup.Or the Palimony law where rights
    of unmarried cohabitors are established.
    Has anyone here dared to be one them " unmarried cohabitors ".
    Sounds like some weird Sci-Fi movie with beastly long tenacles and
    weird - Outer Limits - sound effects.
    Galsy can do that you know.It's just that Lee Marvin had to find out the hard way.
