I was only in a men's bathroom once. To help a friend who owned a bar set it up for the day. I put ice in the urinal. For what reason God only knows but that's what they did. One time for me. Ice goes in drinks. If you never ever want me to drink a drink with ice in it at a bar, make me put ice in a urinal. Ill skeeve it forever and do.

 

Only if my finger isn't in it.
On a clear night you could probably see the constellation Scorpio if you looked through my right ear. lol

The recent posts you created can be accessed on your page under 'Recent Activity' and the members recent activity can be accessed on the home page under 'Members'. Open that page and then you can access 'Recent Activity' for the board.

Is that what you are speaking of? If not, explain it to me Foolie. If I don't know, Ill post it in staff and find out.

The old place had the post numbers at the top of the post. This place they have the post number at the bottom of the post. In the lower right hand corner of the posts there should be an area that has the post number, '+Quote' and 'Reply". The post numbers are a lighter grey. Do you have that on your screen?

 

Those are such simple things. You don't care if she can hang a double hung window or cut roofing shingles perfectly to hand up the ladder? Wait, how about getting up early to pack a mega lunch and wave 'have a good day' out the front door like Donna Reed? lol

Seriously speaking I am shocked at how many younger women I talk to who don't cook. I mean I know Im an old school relic and was brought up that when the old man comes home have dinner on the table and it doesn't matter if you moved bricks all day long. Look good and have food on the table. lol. Guys coming home and cooking for their wives seems nice but inside Id be thinking, generations of old women in my family are giving me the dead eye from the grave right now.

Funny how sometimes how you were raised really sticks with you. Old school Italians set the tone and they were serious instructors. All out of love which makes you respect it.

No Im not the owner or married to the owner. The only affiliation I have with the owners is me volunteering to help this place chug along singing a song.

I was a regular poster here. I posted in the bar to have fun and read as much as possible in the forum to gain knowledge. Kind of like I do now. I was asked by the old staff to volunteer to be an Advisor then Moderator. I was then asked by the owners to be an Administrator here. At the time Jered and Flounder were also asked and became Administrators. Jered did the tech end and Flounder and I handled the basic everyday stuff. Jered retired from the position after some time from time constraints and Flounder passed away. So here I am.
