You know those contain ricin and our deadly poison to consume with no antidote right?

I know you probably don't plan on eating them but just be aware of that if you don't already know it

If they stop to take pictures they should take time to speak to the man sitting in the chair. You will have to share picture when your phlox bloom next spring. Fall and spring are the best times to look for flowers blooming. We have the October daisies blooming starting at the end of September. They are really a sight to see.

That has happened to me and it is always a delight to find a plant or plants that I forgot about only to discover they didn't forget to thrive. Lucky you.

Still in a drought here in Suffolk, England.
We've had less than 5 inches since the beginning of March.
Trees are turning brown like it's Autumn.
I can't remember a year with less rain.

The cuttings under the tree did the best of all of them. The wet season and shade worked well. I didn't use rooting hormone.

A drought is always bad. It has been so humid here the lawn grass doesn't dry out till afternoon if at all.

Oh, was there a river in that picture? I was too busy drooling over the truck in my favorite color, rust.

OK, I'm weird and I know it, but I love seeing the old vehicles, covered in rust, abandoned in the landscape. It speaks of times and events gone by, and these are their markers....

It just looked like the land around where the Rio Grand flows. Although in the picture look at the far right that could be a stream or road.

I used to use it all the time. This year none. I read that plants have the hormone naturally. I think it is about control of the humidity and light. My azaleas are doing real good this year without adding anything but dirt and water. I cut them differently and when I stick them I really pack the dirt around the stem. To let a cutting dry out is to kill it. To let the sun burn them and let it get too dry around them is to kill them.

Rainy season in England is usually from early January to late December. ;)

Chart shows how dry it is compared to previous years in East Anglia.

Most popular dish of the week was yesterday's porc Normande. Roasted loin of pork with a sauce made with mustard, cream, apple and cider.
That's always a hit wherever I serve it.
