Hi everyone. I plan on sleeping in tomorrow morning and may not be up in time to cook for you bums. So, I am doing it now. All you have to do is just pop them into the microwave for about 20 or so seconds and they will be ready. Choose your own topping and have at them. Have a really great day tomorrow.

That's the one. I thought of her name in the middle of the night. LOL, hate it when that happens!

Yep, half smart as a whip... half dumb as a rock. :-D

I guess this would be a good place to confess what I ate at the fair today.

For lunch I had a ft long sausage on a stick from Hans Mueller's (passed on the fried sauerkraut balls) Coupla hrs later, had a cone of Jack's Fries... with lotsa salt & ketchup. And an ice cold rootbeer from a big barrel. Brought home a Fletcher's Corny Dog for later.

So, the quantity wasn't bad... but compared to artificial meat... it was pretty horrible! Good thing I walked about 50 miles. (OK, not 50... but a LOT)

Kewlest thing I saw... a 'smart house'. Nearly like a 'smart car' -- but made for one person to live in. Tiny little kitchen on side, next to tiny little bathroom with toilet & shower... room for a chair & a flatscreen TV in the middle, bed on the other side. Built in shelves and cabinets. Real quality materials like granite & hardwoods... not like a trailer house.

Totally self-contained w/solar panels & tankless water heater... cook top that looks like a serving tray, but when not in use, can be put away. Central heat & air... nice grill and fireplace w/pizza oven just outside the back door. Small jacuzzi... retractable screened porch. All you'd need would be a water source... and you could set that little house up anyplace your heart desired!

Definitely a new concept. Made me think there might be plenty of folks who dream about GETTIN THE HELL AWAY FROM ALL THESE IDIOTS and living alone in the woods. Two very friendly people could prob share it... but they'd have to get along REAL good!

LOL, with a $40,000 price tag... made me fantasize about living in that little house myself for a minute there!

Had a good time. Same ole fair and that's a GOOD thing!

LOVE the pics, y'all! I can't believe our baby is nearly one! He looks like such a lil man. Has that 'wise beyond his years' look in his eye. That's gonna be some kid, Kimi! (think you've already figured that out, huh?)

Gypzy, you're lil princess is a doll. Only granddaughter? Belle of the Ball! ;)

Here's some links... they also had a fullsized Home of Tomorrow next to this "Micro" version. The first one is a link to a video about the little one, but it's 'offline' -- might check it again later.

    Home of Tomorrow

    Home of Tomorrow Slide Show

(Slides 4 & 5 show the micro house)

LOL, the 160 sq ft micro is built by the Tumbleweed Tiny House Company.

Tumbleweed Tiny Houses makes houses as small as 89sq ft. I'd love to take a look in one of these...they look cute in the vids...but of course, not as cute as my princess. :- )

LOL, I kept thinking of that deer lease we used to have. I wouldn't half mind spending a freezing cold weekend in the boonies if I had a place like that to stay in! We had one of those OLD Airstream trailers that was about the same size... but it had to have been built in the 50's! One step up from sleeping outside -- but it did have electricity!

    Thanks.
The first link is still off line. Ill keep trying.

Was that one particular company that built the house from the bottom up or was it a bunch of different companies that added their technology to make it a "Home of Tomorrow"?

I like this kid! Look at those expressions! You cant beat it.

First expression..."Wow a Barbie cake. I'm gonna blow these candles out and I'm ready to eat some great cake. No one touch that cake till I say so."

    lmao!

Second picture..."I look good dressed in this. Anyone who teases me about it is gonna get this wand in my hand swung at them."

    lmao!

    God bless her. She's adorable.

Afternoon, OT. Why I'm off Thur & Fri and wait to go grocery shopping til Sat is beyond me. Survived Wally World... and Aldi's. Red beans & rice for dinner. If you're real good, you can have small sliver of Eagle Brand Lemon Pie. Mmmmm, meal fit for a (poor) king!

Thanks, Fa. She is a total girly-girl....who could name every starter on the Cowboys from the time she was 18 months...iow...a Texas girly-girl. LOL!

What kills me is the "toe point" under that skirt. LOL. That's as "bashful" as it gets for our lil firecracker.

Read a few posts back, g/f! Had a good time and didn't eat all that much. Weather was PERFECT and I was most impressed with the House of Tomorrow. Also saw the frisbee dog show and took a look at the livestock. Didn't do any rides, but went thru every building and saw the latest gadgets. (you know, the ones that work wonderfully when the demonstrator shows 'em, but never work when you get 'em home?)

Didn't fall victim to the magic brooms this year. Dragged two around with me last time I went and I swear, I've used 'em maybe twice.

Bought myself a new leather mini-purse at a leather shop. Eggplant colored... luv it!

Also brought home a lb of fudge they were making on a big ole slab... sending half of that to dad with his bowl of beans & rice.
