Morning troops....I'm sore all over. But, got my big flower bed in the back yard mostly cleaned out. The weather is great here.

So, who tried to wax this weekend? LOL

 

Sounds like you were a busy little bee. Soon everyone will be complaining about the heat again, 'cept OT of course. He'll probably shovel snow til August.

 

I had grandson all day Saturday, which was sooooo much fun. Spent the day yesterday working in the monstrous bed. I want to get the big cleaning done now, while it's cool enough to stand working in it. The jonquils are blooming big time around here. I know we'll have at least one more freeze before spring really gets here. You can't convince the plants to wait, though.

Smarty, how long you with us this week? When does vacay start?

 

We've got no jonquils yet, and maybe snow on Wednesday, but the trees are budding up like crazy. It's ALMOST spring here.

Leaving Thurs morning, g/f. Coming home Sunday. Just heard one of the Divas backed out 'cuz her dad's sick. And then there were 4.

They'll be picking me up at 9:20 am.

I've tried and tried to think of some little gift to take along for everyone. On our trip to Vegas, one of the gals brought us all fuzzy house socks. I'm at a loss to think of anything. Since I don't know two of 'em very well, I'm a little leery of taking candy (saw some yummy-looking Godiva bars)... they're taking a Keurig coffee maker and coffee, so that's out.

Anybody have any suggestions? Maybe order flowers or an edible bouquet to be delivered our first day there???

I actually think candy is a good idea, seriously. Especially since you mentioned the coffee maker.


Of course, I'm letting personal bias speak... Chocolate mints and coffee are a sinful passion of mine. LOL

 

Herbal teas? I always like to have tea at night rather than coffee. Or maybe some specialty cookies?

Well, for the record. I have shoveled snow here in Jackson in August. We have seen it snow every month of the year here. Of course it is not the norm but it can and does happen.

Well I just got back from the doctors office. He said that my heart was racing like nobodys business at 140 beats a minute and then he said that I needed to go to the hospital. I put the kabosh on that real quick. So he gave me some medicine to slow down my heart beat. Funny thing is that my blood pressure is fine and not dropping like it should have wiith that kind of heart beat. I just took it again and it is fine. Doctors, what do they know anyway.
