    I believe the Colonels { Colonel Sanders } of KFC {Kentucky Fried Chicken}
    special recipe of herbs and spices is still locked in a vault.Like the
    recipe for Coke was.
    Colonel Sanders started out about the same time as Ray Kroc
    and they travelled the backroads sellin wares and their restaurant
    idea's.Sanders would pull up to a Mom & Pop general Store
    go in his trunk and fetch his fryin pan and bag of spices and
    flour and cook um some victuals { viddles }.

    Coffee, the Coronel's fixins, and heavenly chocolate cake, served by some mighty fine boys.

    Sadly, they have done away with most KFCs around here, and you know you want what you can't have.

    How long until something changes? Watching them 'fix' this site is like watching a bunch of good ole boys work on a 79 Ford in the front yard. What starts out as a job ends up becoming a way of life. :twisted:

    Hi everyone. No I am ( was ) not under a snowdrift. But I have been little under the weather lately. Doc says that it was not a heart attack, but I was just totally run down. I felt like somebody had just pulled the plug and all of my energy just went some place else. So the Doc wants me to kind of take it easy for a couple of weeks like no snow shoveling no shampooing carpets and things like that. What does he think I am anyway, an invalid? So don't be to surprised if I am not on much for awhile.

    If I may suggest something... vitamins. Not the One-A-Day type, but the vitamin packs that have 8-10-12 tablets of vitamins and minerals in them.

    When I drive, sometimes for three or four days straight I'll be so pressed for time that meals consist of meat and cheese on bread - burgers, Subway, etc. I'll be so run-down and exhausted I can't hardly do anything.

    I'll eat a pack of vitamins and minerals, drink a small bottle of orange juice, get a solid night of sleep, and in the morning I'll feel 100% better - rested and energetic.

    Hope you get to feelin' the same way soon!

    well now , OldTimer , sounds like you maybe shoveled too much snow , over-did it , easy to do , , great news that it wasn't a heart attack , , btw , are you in the hospital or home ?

    hmmm , well , I've experienced a sudden loss of pliss & vinegar myself , , ask the Doc about your blood sugar . .

    In the meanwhile , take care of yourself , and if your laid-up at home , you may as well spend the day at Smartys , it's good therapy and good company .

    The chef will fix ya a veggie-burger with tofu french fries , , strictly heart healthy , , olive oil , sea salt , organic , we're talking cow poo here , and that's just the tofu . LOL . .

    in the meantime , happy birthday .
