    It's a fracture of the two long bones that latch onto the main bone that goes into and starts to be the ankle!!!

    You really want me to post this on an open forum....and then never be able to live it down, eh?

    Bought a slip n' slide for my grandsons. It was hot. They were having fun.
    I thought to myself, you're only as old as you feel.
    I went running for the crazy yellow plastic sheet with water raining onto it.
    Whee! I went. The kids screamed with delight to see the old fart sliding into the bumper.
    So...I gave it another go. It was just as much fun as the first time.
    So, off I went again...only this time I slipped but I did not slide.
    And it's a good thing the girls are real or I'd be lopsided on top of having a busted rib!

    moral of story: you're not ONLY as old as you feel

    *sneaks out of the bar before the laffing starts*

    So you backed up, ran like hell, leaped and...missed the slide?

    First off, very sorry to hear about your rib. I hear rib breaks are horribly painful.


    Couple of questions.
    Were you drunk, seeing double and went for the slide that wasnt really there?
    Did they turn the water off just when you were gonna slide and you stuck?
    Did you set that thing up with plywood and have it come off your garage roof to shoot you into a small wading pool 50' away from the slide?
