    Oh man, those temps sound good. Yeah, we broke the heat streak yesterday... 43 or 44 days in a row, I think. Hopefully we'll start cooling off soon, but for now it's still forecast to hover around 100 for at least the next 7-10 days. Ft Worth actually got a rain shower yesterday!! We got nuthin but a little added humidity. Bummer. :(

    Good morning everyone. Time to be up and at em. Temps here in Jackson are really cool. Yesteray it was 37 and an embarrasing 33 up in the park in the morning, and temps for the day are now about 75-77. Sure wish I could send some of this down to you guys down in Tesas. Well how about a nice old fashioned breakfast to help you get through this day. Have a really great day all.

    Been a strange week... not sure I remember most of it. ;)

    Like I told JW, finally got a little rain. Enough to wet the sidewalks and cool it down to 76. Still forecasting over 100 this afternoon, so not sure it's a blessing. Looks like it's heading down Gypzy's way, though. Pray it gives those folks some much needed rain!!

    Well it's great to be back. We still aren't getting any rain either. Only a little sprinkle or two. Most of the hills around here are turning brown now. Sure do hope that you get some relief from all of that heat before to long.

    My gardening group had a tradition of "naked turtle dances" when rain was required.

    I say tonight, at 10 to midnight, everyone slip from their rags and do a little rain dance to your favorite tune. With a concerted effort, surely the rain gods cannot deny us!
