Adam is arrested protesting in front of the White House where a president who acknowledges his past drug use lives President Choom has no comment.
He should fess up to being an outrageous hypocrite that prosecutes more medical marijuana growers/users than Bush. He should say that he's just basically an grab bag of double standards and crap.
With the government in charge of health care, now they will know who all the drug users are. The government probably knows more about us than we know about ourselves. Of course, everything that Obama and the IRS and the DOJ is but a mystery.
President Choom was too busy droning children and spying on Americans to meet Kokesh for a smoke session.
Why would he comment? I get the drug past, but still, I just don't know why he would comment on this.
That the drug war is an outrageous and immoral assault on the natural rights of the citizenry. If Obama was a real liberal (which he's not), he would have supported Kokesh's right to peacefully assemble and ingest drugs.
G W Bush favored DECRIMINALIZATION of pot, but couldn't openly endorse it, due to the political realities of the times. Bill Clinton is the POTUS who made POT the Number One target of the DEA...
As an alleged liberal and admitted drug user, Obama has a moral and intellectual obligation to bring light to the injustice of the drug war. Instead, he remains silent and complicit in the destruction of millions of non-violent drug users.
It has certainly cost us PLENTY. You Ready for the "Original Six Members" Cup finals? The Bruins STUNNED ME by sweeping the Mighty Pens... The 'Hawks and Bears should be a PRETTY GOOD SERIES!! Kane rocks!
I think that the primary reason certain drugs are illegal include the following. 1. Corporate America does not want to hire people taking drugs and our government is the best government money can buy. After all, if given a choice, who would you hire if two candidates were equal in potential and ability? Would you hire the pot head or the one who was not? 2. Those in government like to have the dirt on us so that at any given moment they can throw us in jail if they feel we become a threat in any way. For example, they could not get Al Capone on any charges other than tax evasion. If he were smoking pot, they could have used that as well. 3. Those in government are probably getting money under the table from the drug trade. There is simply to much money here for it not to be influencing Washington. Making it legal would end the drug party by drastically lowering prices, even though it may be taxed. Forget about it, they will never legalize it. The only way I can see drugs becoming legal is if government feels the need to drug its citizens into compliance. Judging from how apathetic and clueless the American people seem to be, this does not seem to be necessary.
It was a directed protest, hence the White House. An honorable man, a president of the people as he claims to be, might quit visiting vetted delis as his outreach and actually have a conversation with people protesting his hypocritical stance.
Yeah, but I was refering to why would he comment on this arrest? Has there been anything to make it stand out? Did he watch him being arrested while snorting puppy tears? - - - Updated - - - And there's only one protest that happens at the White House? No offense, but even I don't think he would know everything that happens in that house.
Kokesh was protesting his drug polices at the White House. That deserves more of a comment than a criminal matter in Florida, and yet he came out to talk about having a son that could look like Trayvon. Obama only speaks when he can preach to a choir. He refuses any criticism, limiting questions when his administration is in the middle of a FUBAR. He's a hypocrite and a fraud.
