    No, it is the Republicans who made the impeachment process worthless. Instead of being a check on Presidential abuse, it is now just another partisan process.

    No, because Trump was only impeached because Democrats feelings were hurt. That wasn't an impeachable offence, hence the nothingburgers. To impeach, you need something credible, going down the feelings route is not credible.

    I'm British, Hillary making up Russian propaganda that got the Left's feelings wound up, is not impeachable. To be let off the hook ejaculating your load off your secretaries chin in the Oval Office? America is one screwed up nation.

    That is just a lie.
    The first impeachment of Trump was over an actual attempt to manipulate foreign aid to a country to force them to make a sham announcement about an investigation into his likely rival in the 2020 election.

    If that is not an impeachable offense then almost nothing is.

    The Senate, refusing to even call witnesses, during Trump's first impeachment is what has made it worthless. As long as the Party of the President has more than 40 members in the Senate then impeachment is never going to be able to remove a President no matter what offenses he/she may have committed. The vote to remove is now simply a partisan process thanks to the Republicans.

    Nobody believes Democrats fake impeachments any more as they have tried to impeach 5 of the last 6 Republican presidents.
    Then they best their chest about it.
    When they are actually clueless to even figure out most don't give much credit to them when they cry wolf anymore.

    That would be because the left is an easy sell when it comes to fake media broadcast. Its an education thing.
    They don't know it takes more than 72 days to go from accusation to a Senate trial
    They don't know hearsay witness testimony isn't accepted
    They don't know its not the Senates job to investigate their claims and depose new witnesses
    They don't know their subpoenas have no teeth when they don't get a house vote to impeach
    They don't know getting caught producing fake videos and falsified claims in a Senate trial has an effect on Senate votes
    They don't know refusing Republicans to call their own witnesses will have an effect on the outcome

    But it sounds like you are convinced.

    Assuming a Crazy doesn't get the Speaker's position, one more Crazy than McCarthy, I think he'll have to take the temperature of the caucus to see how rabid it is before deciding who will be the target of the coming witch hunts. Hunter for sure. It will be a balance of the need to give the base some red meat and not exposing themselves as vindictive hacks with no real plan on solving the nation's problems.

    No, no difference at all. Part of the process for declassifying documents is to remove the classification markings. If they are still marked classified then they are still classified.

    Yes, I know about impeachments. Apparently more than you do since I know, for a fact, only 3 Presidents have ever been impeached. Johnson [1868], Clinton [1998] and Trump [2019 & 2021]
    Nixon was informed by GOP leaders in Congress that he would be impeached (and removed) over Watergate so he chose to resign.
