I always thought east coast had the better chance, with being closer to canada and all they could hide out there
The east has never been a flavor people liked outside of the east. However, the east has such high population they can stay relatively successful even though rap is dead. An east coast rapper can go platinum without selling a unit outside of New York. The 90's rivalry was about the west's melodic mobbing sound and constant rhymes, that fit the beat perfectly, vs the east's choppy style, with a rhyme here and there, that barely went with the beat. The west progressed into a new sound that is anti-rhythm, ignoring what made it sound so great, and the fad of rap and the large white fan base died. Rap will always exist in the African American culture, but its prominence was due to white America, and white Americans love harmony with edgy lyrics and a clever flow. There is no new lyrics to deliver. No flow we haven't heard. And harmony has disappeared. The only thing left to be made is club music, and club music goes as fast as it came. Rap is dead.
the tuskegee airmen played a pivotal role defeating the southern confederates in the civil war, thus ending slavery. they were the first African American air force, and dropped bombs on the southern confederacy army for the northern union army.
