Can anyone, off the top of their head, mention five news headlines from three months ago? I put this here in "current events" because it seems like the current news of the day completely replaces events that happen even in recent history. The fake outrage of the day completely eclipses the fake outrage of last week that previously had people spitting fire. If the outrage generated by these "current events" is so genuine, people ought to be able to easily recall them. I'm betting most people will need to go check out a news site or look through the forum's history to 'remember' what happened even as recently as three months ago. If the outrage is merely a pretense for people to complain about general trends in society, what's the point in discussing these matters?

So, who here can remember five news stories from three months ago? Which of these were you angry about then, and which were you happy to hear?
