You think pulling out a pacifist Jew with nothing to say as a solution other than “we must lead” is compelling as a matter of policy?

As for whether he supports Hamas or not, I don’t know, is he like all the others and standing side by side with those chanting death threats to the US and Israel while camping out in a Soros funded tent with them? Guess what my answer is going to be if that’s a “yes”?

If the KKK showed up at a Trump rally, should Trump immediately end the event and everyone would go home and not chant about legit immigration issues or gun control issues or whatever?

To shut down the Jan 6 protests, did Democrats just have to run around pointing at white supremacists that happened to be there trying to get involved, and try to associate them with the larger group?

I don't think so. I also don't think student protestors who organize a protest against Nettenyahu's atrocities and their schools funding it should suddenly shut it down because a few anti-Semite agitators show up on or off the campus.

Again, Nettenyahu's own party uses the same phrase. Is that a genocidal statement from them?

You speak in bad faith when you pretend I am defending Hamas in anything I wrote above. You are in bad faith when you pretend most of the student protestors on US campuses support Hamas. These are bad faith propaganda slurs that you have adopted.

Very few American students disagree with you on that. You are in bad faith when if you pretend otherwise.

Some idiot actually marched around with a sign that read "Gays for Hamas?". One guy? More than one? Where? When? Note that Hamas != Palestinians. Gays for Palestinians would be a rather heart warming message of universal human empathy and human rights, regardless of what many Palestinians may think of gays. That's the sort of love the sinner not the sin kind of thing Jesus would do.

"Reputation is Everything": Honor Killing Among the Palestinians
    by James Emery

In the Palestinian communities of the West Bank, Gaza Strip, Israel, and Jordan, women are executed in their homes, in open fields, and occasionally in public, sometimes before crowds of cheering onlookers...

Among Palestinians, all sexual encounters, including rape and incest, are blamed on the woman. Men are presumed innocent; the woman must have tempted him into raping her or enticed him into having an affair. A woman is expected to protect her honor, even at the cost of her own life. If she survives a violent rape, she is condemned for her "mistake" and may be killed by her family...

Some Palestinian women, facing a loss of honor and certain death, have been offered a chance "to die with dignity" by strapping on explosives and killing Israelis.

In some areas, a Palestinian woman is required to have a male relative accompany her whenever she leaves the home. Unfortunately, her male "guardian" -- father, brother, uncle, or cousin -- may be a sexual predator who rapes her. Should she become pregnant, he will publicly condemn her for dishonoring the family after killing both her and their unborn child. Last year, seventeen-year-old Afaf Younes was killed by her father, who had allegedly been sexually molesting her. Afaf had tried to escape his sexual abuse by running away, but she was caught and returned to her father. He then shot her in the name of honor.

A sixteen-year-old Palestinian girl became pregnant after being raped by her younger brother. Once her condition became known, her family encouraged her older brother to kill her to remove the blemish from their honor. Her brothers, the rapist and the murderer, were exonerated. The girl was blamed. "She made a mistake," said one of her male cousins. "She had to pay for it.".

Trump can kick out whoever he wants. As happens when he gets heckled by people who have no business being there. He allows them to stay, that says something. You shouldn’t pretend that it doesn’t.

Any group hosting an event that has control over who participates by definition is making statements based on who they allow and don’t allow to be there. And rightfully so.

Have any of the protesters called for releasing the hostages or condemning the 10/7 slaughter? I haven’t seen any, just anti Israel hatred.

Hamas started it. Israel will finish it by destroying Hamas and expelling the Palestinians.

This coming from the party of people who still complain about stealing Indian land and slavery. That these hateful and bigoted protests were allowed to go on longer than a day is telling.

As soon as I heard the people around me cheering when a bozo shouted, “October 7, 10,000 times!” I’d pack up my tent and go back to the dorm.

That’s what happened the anti Vietnam demonstrations and teach-ins in the late ‘60s and early ‘70s. You started out against war and then you’d get a lecture about how great communism is and everything that is bad in the world is due to capitalism.

Oh good grief Israel does what is compelled of them by Hamas. Oct. 7 Hamas went a bridge too far to phrase it politely. Most of Israel not just Netanyahu no longer believes that they can live comfortably next door too Hamas. Hence either Hamas must go or they must go and they are voting for Hamas. Does that mean that more Palestinians than they would like are going to die in the process? Certainly. But Hamas created the ground rules for this fight and continues to treat its own people as cheap political pawns useful only for arousing the sympathies of the worlds dumbest leftists who it seems mostly inhabit US college campuses.

Here is another Jewish person, this time a US Senator, criticizing the way the Bibi RW government is conducting this war:

    https://www.cnn.com/2024/04/28/poli...ts-antisemitism-israel-hamas-sotu-intv-digvid

I guess he must be an anti-semite, Hamas lover, too. Or so goes simplistic RW thinking.

The reality is, a new peace process must be started. But, that's the last thing Bibi and Hamas want. Perpetual conflict keeps them in power.
