When will the other states wake up to this "common sense" idea? It was the first bill Governor Noem signed. Way to go Gov! https://www.capjournal.com/cjbureau...cle_5de8f20e-2643-11e9-821c-4b4a34041428.html
I don’t think this is a good idea. Having a gun and in the home without any kind of training is fine, since you aren’t putting the public at risk. But if you’re going to carry in public, you should have to demonstrate a basic understanding of firearms, as well as demonstrate proficiency with your weapon. I’ve had to demonstrate such in Ohio, and then again when I moved to NC. It’s just common sense.
Let’s build a wall around California, New York, Illinois, and Massachussets. Then the rest of us can enjoy our rights.
How are you gonna make the thugs and gang bangers comply? Most of them are already enjoying permitless carry...
That's the nice thing about being able to carry a gun; it makes dangerous or unpleasant situations easier to handle. My wife says she always feels safer when traveling alone if she has her gun with her. God made men. Sam Colt made them equal. Thanks for taking the time to comment in my thread. Rich
I called up the Bureau of Alcohol, tobacco and firearms. I asked "what kind of whiskey goes with an AK47". He said, "it depends what you're smoking."
Some guy in Texas showed us how to do that about two weeks ago when five armed thugs broke into his house in the night. Total and permanent compliance on three, probably strong deterrence on two more.
What criminals may Ken may not do is irrelevant to the fact that people should not be able to carry a firearm in public, if they have no idea what they are doing. Hence, CCW Minimum training and licensing.
That's right! Instead lets put them behind the wheel of 2.5 ton SUV with a latte in one hand and a cell phone in the other.
So anyone who wears a seatbelt, has a fire extinguisher, has insurance, or locks their doors are also cowards?
