    Lol

So, somebody tasked with auditing a billion dollar company doesn't need an Accounting background or license?

Just so long as the outcome of their audit aligns with you lr political desires, right?

Oh… I didn’t know that’s the way the American legal systems works.

So if someone has been placed for life in prison and they find out they committed another crime, the state just shrugs its shoulders and lets it go?

It's not how it should work, but it's obvious what the goal is and it's not enforcing the law. All these investigations only started when he ran. Was he an angel before this?

It should, yes. That's how it works...lol.

Believe it, or not, in The United States evidence has to be genuine, credible and correct. If evidence is none of those, it can't be used in court. It's that whole "fair trial" thing that I know you people hate.

Should Tim Geitner have been charged with tax evasion?

Oh! What was that other post where you said something about "equal under the law"?...LMAO!

That post is bullshit. Ain't it?...lol

So,you're saying that anyone running for president is held to a different legal standard. Is that right?

    Really?

Trump University - Dissolved for fraud.
Trump Charity - Dissolved for fraud.
Trump Organization - Dissolved for fraud.
    Trump Casino - Bankrupt
    Trump Airlines - Bankrupt

No, he has never been a saint. I looks like he has been a serial adulterer (bordering on rapist) with a history of fraud and corruption along with very loose financial practices.

It doesn't matter who prepares them. It's still his name on them and his responsibility to be sure they are done accurately.

You get a second opinion when you get serious medical advice, shouldn't you do the same for your taxes?

I don't think she was tasked with doing a full audit.

You are assuming he was working within the system. There is no rational basis for assuming that. He lied about everything from square footage to the number of floors in his buildings to occupancy rates to what buildings he ACTUALLY owned (vs those he was just thinking of buying) to whether or not he included brand premiums in his evaluations. If you can think of it, your boy Trump lied about it.

According to Trump supporters, enforcing our own laws makes us the equivalent of Soviet Russia.

He didn't lie to the tax assessor about the square footage of his house. That's because the tax assessor makes that determination. The property owner doesn't.

People "make mistakes" all the time on their taxes and don't get charged. I've already provided examples.

How exactly is a half audit performed? And does that lesson the accounting capability of the Auditor?

(Try not to report this post too, since there is nothing violating the rules here. But at least we know who runs to the mods)

You need to find out what a "full audit" means. There is no such thing as a "half audit" . Only one of my companies has had a full audit in 40 years

So if you have read the story, Trump didn't report a a debt that was forgiven, which you must report because you have to pay taxes on any forgiven debt. Instead of reporting it as a forgiven debt, Trump purportedly classified it as a loan. It's good to see you have changed your mind that classifying anything as a loan is okay for tax purposes.
