U.S. embassies celebrate "Pride Month" from the Vatican to Jerusalem, but not in Saudi Arabia.

Just a smidgen of the hypocrisy of Democrats who moralize about the "religious fanatics" in the US - especially the ....(drum roll) MAGA Republicans, yet somehow the moslems always get away scot-free. I wonder why? Why is it that the liberal leaners can't wait to bash religion, most notably Christianity and Judaism, while the chief global offenders of terrorism are never mentioned? Ever?

 

No gay pride flags on US embassies in Muslim countries? Why should they be given special treatment?

 

Right now there are a couple of threads where people are called bigots, haters and phobes if they don’t want men in women’s locker rooms. These same types of people are now doing what’s necessary to please and not insult people who don’t want men in women’s locker rooms.

Did it ever occur to anyone that Muslims live all over the world and not just a few countries? What about their feelings?

U.S. missions overseas can once again fly the LGBT Pride flag on their official flagpoles, according to an internal State Department cable obtained Friday by ABC News.

The policy, announced by Secretary of State Antony Blinken, repeals his predecessor Mike Pompeo's effective ban on Pride flags or others from flying at U.S. embassies and consulates.

The cable, sent earlier this week, lays out the Biden administration's policy on LGBTI rights, detailing several actions President Joe Biden has taken since assuming office to support "the human rights of LGBTQI+ persons and communities."

Hmmm... why are you saying that moslem countries would automatically murder gay people. I thought liberals think that the US is the 'intolerant' place? We never hear a word from them regarding islam.

 

I would rather our state department overseas building have nothing but the American flag on them ever, but I really don't have an issue with them electing not to inflame the local passions in problematic locales.
