States report FEMA PPE's are beyond their expiration dates

    • Failure to meet thread creation guidelines (Rule 11)
    Many states which are finally getting PPE's from FEMA are finding that much of what they are receiving is old and beyond the expiration date. While this gear may be acceptable for many tasks related to virus screening, it is not acceptable for hospital operating rooms or Intensive Care Units.The question is if this is old outdated supplies, WHY has it taken them so long to produce it???

    FEMA is more field oriented than hospital oriented. Not sure where you are going here...

    If these are old EXPIRED PPE's, they have been sitting around somewhere in a warehouse rotting, why was there such a holdup in getting them to the states????Someone needs to be FIRED!!!

    All of the inaction can be traced back to SARS 2003. The spread completely stopped, and the scientific/health community said "Nah bro, we don't need them."

    Now in 2020, the world is caught flatfooted for something it had 17 years, SEVENTEEN to prepare for.

    That does not explain, in any manner, why states are just receiving them now???

    They had to KNOW they had them why didn't they produce them when they first were asked????INCOMPETENCE!!!!
