It's not silly. I know it's a term I use, but it's the easiest way to describe to remarkable "machine" the alt-left has put together to spread Progressivism. Billions of dollars, dozens and dozens of groups, media outlets, websites, think tanks, polling operations, public and private labor unions, on and on. What you fail to realize is it's pols like McCain (neo cons) that are wrecking the party, he campaigned on barrycare repeal and went against the GOP. Fox News really is like a state-run network, just lacks the actual status of being one. Rarely does Trump ever get attacked, or held accountable by any of the personalities. The network really tries to cradle Trump. Doing their best to slander the Mueller investigation, shift the focus over to Trumps vanquished opponent, unfortunately 40% of Trumps flock listens to exclusively that network, and takes it as truth.
