When people vote this November, they should remember one thing. Donald Trump gave us $1,200 stimulus payments, plus $500 per child. That money helped a lot of good people. It sure helped me. The money we received didn't come from Joe Biden. I hope that people will remember that.

I love it when the government gives me some of my money back.

I don’t think you understand how US govt works. Pretty sure folks in the house and senate had a little something to do with folks getting handouts.

But now, it is the democratic house which is keeping Trump from approving another stimulus package.

    Outright falsehood
Democrats actually passed their bill issuing new $1,200 checks — the Republican Senate has refused to take it up after conferencing with trump.
They have yet to pass a single bill on the issue.

The Stimulus money came from a bill sponsored by Representative Joe Courtney (D'Connecticut) and was passed largely by bi- partisan vote with only 1 Democrat and 6 Republicans voting against it. So the Bill began in the house with a Democrat sponsor and was passed through Congress with bi-partisan support and signed by the President. Discussion of a second stimulus bill was stopped when the President threatened to veto it and would not negotiate with House Democrats after they had passed the bill.
President Trump had a part in the first stimulus but he did not give it to you. He also stopped a second round of stimulus money that had passed in the House

They passed a three trillion dollar stimulus package which they knew Trump would not sign. Trump proposed a one trillion dollar stimulus. At the same time the democrats are proposing a three trillion dollar stimulus they are griping about the national debt Trump is running up. You can't have it both ways.

Well, handing out unearned money is not a driving reason to vote for Trump...lots of other reasons....

trump cannot propose spending bills, that is left to congress.
Maybe the issue is the Senate is allowing him to run their policy instead of discussing it with the House.

Has the Senate sent anything to the House?

trump did not give anyone anything — the taxpayers did through a bill negotiated through congress.

The only thing you are correct in is that no money came from Jo Biden — because he is a private citizen.
    How absurd

Trump had to sign the bill to make it law so there is that.

Sure he can propose it. It has to then go to the house and then the senate and back to him.

The executive department actually initially proposes the largest part of the budgets. For example, in the department of defense, down at the lowest level in each branch, they state what their requirements are for the following fiscal year. It is massaged, consolidated and then sent up to the next higher level and eventually to the DOD and to the president and then to the house.

Yes, he signed the bill that gave himself 500,000,000,000.00 to do with what he chose.
And then tried to hide where it went because billions went to organizations that have no employees, pay no taxes and are hate groups.

    You didn’t answer the question:
Has the Senate sent anything to the House?

I don't know or care. It does not make any difference. If Trump is not going to sign it, it goes nowhere.

The House Bill rewarded States and Cities that remained shut down for the sole purpose of throwing the 2020 election to Beijing Biden. The attempt to have working Republicans subsidize a Democrat hit job, a $3T attempt to tank the dollar was not serious. Trump in 2020 is not Bush in 2007 when Pelosi crashed the economy on his watch.

    Pure nonsense.
It had money in it for state (red and blue) that were hurt by the loss of revenue from the pandemic.

That you see it as political only speaks to your partisan bias

The entire party narrative in two lines. Congratulations on being so concise.

The answer of course is no, they haven’t. They are screaming the Democrats have done nothing while sitting on their bills and doing nothing.
But it works for their low information base that doesn’t “know or care”.

The duty of congress is to legislate, not pander to the president.
If the president deems a bill against his agenda he can veto it and then congress — if they have the votes — can overturn said veto.

Democrats want to help any American hurting.
