Study: Big Tech Heavily Engaged in Censoring Conservatives

    Big Tech is discriminating against conservatives and independent thinkers by censoring them online, which has a cumulative effect because it also prevents followers from hearing about new ideas and viewpoints, according to a report released Wednesday by the Media Research Center (MRC) Free Speech America.

    MRC calls this "secondhand censorship," which it defines as the number of times that users on social media have information kept from them.

    According to the study, users were affected by secondhand censorship more than 140 million times in the first quarter of this year. That was the result of direct censorship of individuals and organizations at least 4,000 times….

    B    ig Tech is biased against conservatives. It is suppressing the expression of conservative ideas, beliefs, and opinions. At times it does so as a agent acting on behalf of government. It also acts out its own leaders personal bias. Hopefully reporting on studies confirming such bias will guilt shame them to change their ways

    Heavy on accusations, light on details. And the study counting Twitter blocking Trump after Jan 6th and then claiming THAT as censoring millions of conservatives is more than a bit disingenuous.

    Seems more like NewsLittle.

    Stomping out contrary thought, speech, and writing is one of the primary linchpins of a progressive/marxist movement. IMO it is more than just bias but an underlying desire to join the progressive/leftist takeover of the country.

    Off the top of my head, I am aware of the following channels which averaged over 100,000 (and some which had views over one million) per video which all got nuked from youtube. All very right wing. Not the entire list that I am aware of but about half. Give me your list of left wing youtubers that were nuked. The three highlighted channels created the best political content I have ever seen.

    I don't have a list. I'm not denying the possibility that some or all of these may be legitimate. It would also be very helpful to know what the content was that each of them were actioned for. I suppose my point was the news article, the study, and the group that performed it would all be suspect and declared fake news by the right wingers on here if this was something critical of that side because of the way that it's written and the partisan nature of the group and the media site it came from. The article needs more information and less intent to enflame.

    Hell, Conservatives have been getting censored since the Obama years. This is nothing new. His second term is when this entire ****-storm started and hasn’t stopped since.
