Look, first, the question has already been answered. It is a simple thing to figure out. It's obvious. So for one to ask it repeatedly is disingenuous or something worse. If you don't get it, don't blame me--I've already explained this issue, am not going to do it again.

It's about time. The Democratic Party has been working against American interests since the 1960's.

me and you both sir. presidents are always criminals and mass murderers who never go to jail.thats why our corrupt congress is trying to get him impeached because he is our first real president since JFK to follow the constitution.JFK paid a heavy price for doing that.i dont think they will try that with trump though cause people are aware of how evil our government is now where back then, everybody trusted them.

Yes. It -is- obvious that the chief law enforcement officer of the US -- the chief executive - has the authority to direct the law enforcement agencies under him.
You have yet to demonstrate how this direction differs from "influence".
As such, your claims of "influence" are, at best, unfounded.

:blahblah: You need to be convinced because you are blind puppets for the Orange Clown. The other 65% of America knows what I am talking about. Not going to repeat it all: it's been said a thousand times on here: you just refuse to acknowledge the truth. For example: right now he's being shown on TV denying climate change. Ignoring climate change is a huge threat to America--one of the many threats he is causing. Listen to the scientists instead of the clown.

Let me guess, same pollsters who said Hillary would win in a landslide?

These manufactured polls are getting worse and worse. In this one you see over sampling of union member by 5% more than the national average of union membership. Strange given they only asked 900 people that they would find over the average amount of union members. They also 'randomly' found about 10% more democrats/liberals, imagine that. These liberal rag polls are pathetic. Nothing they imply in their polls should be believed...

The polls weren't wrong. She did win in a landslide, win the popular vote that is. She won by 3 million popular votes, more popular votes than most people who have actually been president earned. She is the people's choice: we were robbed.

Do you know how our elections work? We don’t have “a” popular vote, we have 51 separate popular votes. You get electoral votes based on the population size of the state. You win the presidency by earning electoral votes. Trump won 30 “popular votes” to Clinton’s 21, earning him quite a bit more electoral votes than Hillary. You see, those extra 3 million votes she got in California, only count in California, and earned her her electoral votes from that state. You don’t get to add them to Texas’ vote, or Ohio’s vote or Pennsylvania’s vote.

I understand about the electoral college. I learned about it 40 years ago in high school. I disagreed with it then and do now. It is an archiac system that favors low population rural areas where conservatives live. It is not a coincidence that the elections where the EC vote won when there was a higher popular vote were both conservative candidates.

Smh. That is the deal the states made to become the USA.

It was so archaic when y’all were chanting no path to 270. Y’all are ok with it when ya win with it. It’s just when you lose, you freak out.

So since you’ve known for forty years, you should stop with the “popular vote” crap because you know there is no such thing as one “popular vote”.

Tell me of a time when the popular vote was won by a conservative but the electoral collge was won by a democrat who then became president. The electoral college favors conservatives because the regions where people get more than one vote are rural, conservative regions. There is no likelihood that a republican would win the popular vote and not the electoral college vote.

I have disagreed with the EC since I first learned about it and I continue to do so. It needs to be rescinded. It isn't like it is inevitable.

Before answering that, are you one of those the parties flipped in the 60’s kind of people?

Also, there is no national popular vote. Never has been. There are 51 popular votes every four years.

51.2% of the people voted for someone other than Hillary.
Thus, she was NOT the people's choice.

Feel free to amend the constitution.
You'll have to convince 13 of smallest states to ratify the change.
These states contain about 7% of the US population.

    LOL

Move the goal posts much? Every poll evaluated to the prospective winner based on the electoral college. And they got it so wrong it was an embarrassment.

"We were robbed"... by the system we established for equal representation?

The people in Montana, Nebraska, Wyoming, and Maine would typically disagree. They would like their votes to count for something too, even though they don't live in the population centers.

It doesn't favor lower population states. In that case, each state would get just one popular vote. The electoral college provides more electoral votes to states with higher populations.

    Sour grapes?
