Silly conservatives. They get all worked up over abortion, then turn around and fight to keep more guns in the hands of more people, where they decisively lead to more fatalities among the already-born, including many children.

 

The difference is that abortions are government-funded and sanctioned killings of those who have yet to be born, whereas murders committed through the illegal use of firearms are fully the action of private individuals making their own decisions.

Virtually every abortion ends an innocent human life.
Virtually every firearm possession does not.

What is missed pertaining to the above is that with abortion, it is government providing the funding for the killing of selected individuals classified as being undesirable, via the use of taxes collected from the public for the purpose of maintaining the country.

Actually, most abortions are no more ending an innocent life than using a condom is. The others are typically ending lives for medical reasons, often because the life in question is not actually viable beyond birth anyway.

It doesn't matter how many firearm possessions end lives, either, but how many lives are lost to firearms, and there are many. Many lost to having weapons of war in people's homes, where they just don't belong, and readily available to those who would use them to cause great harm.

58 lives senselessly cut short by one madman. Many, many more lost in similar violence year after year.

But let's fuss over zygotes and non-viable and health-threatening fetuses instead, and care not at all about the ever-growing number of children and adults cut down by weapons of war in people's homes.

 

So, it's only an issue if taxpayer funds are used in the provision of these medical services?

 

It would make the most logical sense for the divide between the two parties to exist.

 

There are other such issues to consider then also, such as being forced to pay taxes to support war. I know there are "resisters" out there who refuse to pay income tax on that principle.

I didn't say it was impossible, I asked you to provide a single person who professed that opinion in good faith (as to be contrasted with trolling) and you claimed it was impossible.
