I dont think you understood. They are not giving the money to Iran. Fulfilling means they follow through with the original plan, where Iran can order food and meds, etc and the purchase is financed from those funds (if US Treasury approves)

Why don't liberals understand that money is fungible? The $ 6 billion that would have gone to food, etc before, now goes to weapons.

Try The Hill, for instance, or other center-Right news providers. I would take a day old NY TIMES story, over a freshly issued NEWSMAX story, any day.

 

But Iran does not have free access to the money, so they do not have the control, to back up their words. Of course, Iran is going to say that they can spend the money, however they like; this is equivalent to Trump claiming that he can declassify documents, "just by thinking it."

 

Look the issue really is that Iran's GDP has almost doubled due to Biden duping American liberals and removing their oil sanctions allowing Iran to produce less than a million barrels a day in 2019 to over 3m barrels a day today. He killed American production and gave it to the middle east all for a stupid ass green initiative that does nothing but shift wealth to the middle east from America. Just look what Obama/Joe, then Trump, now Obama/Joe 2nd, did for Irans GDP. We are literally allowing the funding of this terrorist nation.
