Target Caves: Will Stock Mark Levin’s ‘The Democrat Party Hates America’

Personally I've been convinced that target's upper management has been retarded ever since they let losers with micro-penises strut around in their stores with long guns so this isn't exactly a surprise.

Mr. Mark Levin's AM radio 'conservative' talk show has one purpose: to provide an audience for advertisers. He has a side gig of selling his books.

I listen to his show from time to time and find it amusing. I do not expect to learn anything from it, and have not been disappointed.

Well, if we are recommending basic HS courses for MAGA, toss in a logic course, a reading comprehension course, and perhaps an ethics course (although that one might be AP/college level and out of reach).

People have used their pocket books from time immemorial to try to get people or corporations to act the way they want them to....or to stop acting a way that they don't want them to. Companies either heed those requests or don't. Benefitting from them or suffering from them depending on the situation.
Divesting in South Africa, boycotting Nike slave labour wear, boycotting kneeling football players, boycotting stores that no longer carry guns, my favourite is of course gun groups meeting at Starbucks because they perceived it to be gun friendly, and then boycotting Starbucks because patrons were complaining about the excess guns in the coffeeshop.
IF (and that is a big if, because reading the article it hypertexts 'other' sources confirming the story, which are just links to. other breitbart articles) this story is true it is simply a case of a group of people using their financial clout to pressure a company to act the way they want and not the way the company wants. This is nothing new, and has been done for a s long as I have been around. This is not a heroic act. This is not a novel tactic.
Financial pressure on large companies can be a good thing and is a way to influence society. It can also be destructive, petty and punishing.
I think it's a case by case thing.
Here I have no problem with people putting pressure to get a book in the shelves (though I have some reservations on the facts as they are presented)

 

If the title is "Trump supporters hate America" it would be about the same. I don't think I said much about acceptable or not. Just that it's not at all similar to books that promote acceptance of people who are different.

 

Peewee Herman had a similar retort. Im sure the book is about the damage dems are causing. I live in Los Angeles, so I don't have to buy the book; I see it firsthand every day.

 

Levin is a nutter. There's a reason that he is on the radio when no one is listening. Just like with Coast to Coast AM.

 

Target shouldn't be selling books like Levin's that work to Divide Americans
