There is a less strict variant of Islamic Sharia law with milder penalties called Tazir. There the proof does not need to be as strong (traditionally collaborative evidence and/or two male witnesses) so a rape could be proven. Depending on the Muslim society in question, the penalties appear to range from a severe beating or caning for the rapist, to being "forced" to marry the rape victim.
