While showing off his incredible accounting, business acumen, and taxation skills Tea Party Caucus member John Flemming admits to needing to spend 200K a year to feed his family. Can you say a little disconnected from real America's problems. http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/rep-john-fleming-field-criticism-over-600k-income-153305241.html
Do you really want to go there with Pelosi the millionaire, Reid the millionaire, Obama the soon to be milionaire (if the Solyndra thing comes through) running the show in your party?
He's full of crap. Almost 20K a month to feed his family? Why do people in the public eye say stupid things like this? Do they really think someone took the time to interview them, but wont really look at what they're saying? I don't begrudge the guy for being successful..but cmon. Almost 20Grand a month to feed his family? Who is his family? The entire town he lives in?
When one of them complains about increased taxation effecting their ability to spend 200K a year to feed their family I will be the first to post a thread on it.
Really, you could hire Alice from the Brady Bunch to prepare 3 meals a day for the entire family for around 100K a year (including food costs).
Agreed. Party aside, I just don't like when rich people cry poor mouth. Everyone sees through it, and it just makes you look dishonest. Theres nothing wrong with being successful and owning a bunch of Wendys or whatnot, why try and pretend you really arent making that much money. Especially to go so far as to make outrageous claims like this 200K to feed his family. A good portion of America makes that or less, and not only feeds their families with it..but buys homes, cars and pays bills on it to boot. Somehow this guy needs 200K just for food? Yeah, not resonating with the common man.
