I remember that superbowl...2 KR's for TDs back to back by both teams, then the Giants faltered hard and Ray Lewis crush Kerry Collins all game.

Comical. I couldn't care less about Tebow and his faith. I've heard a lot more annoying religious statements by the likes of Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum to get rubbed the wrong way by Tebow. The only thing annoying about Tebow is his media attention. After Favre retired, the media needed a new 24/7 topic and Tebow was their choice. He's a solid player, nothing less, nothing more.

That could be part of the phenomenon....no more Favre.

We go from a guy who text's his penis to women who don't want it to a deeply religious QB.

Yeah, that darn Tebow has really taken football down hill! The next thing will be 'demonstrations of good sportsmanship,' and then the poopoo'ing of outlandish celebrations after tackles which rubs the other team's noses in it.....there goes the 'game'.....

He doesn't get crap done! Are you kidding me? If that was the case he wouldn't have a 46% completion rate on 3rd down! On fourth down he has 14 attempts with ZERO completions!!! In temps below 40 degrees he has thrown 1 TD and 4 Int's and has a whopping 37% completion rate...

Again - Tebow sucks... You show me ONE STAT that has to do with his position, throwing the ball, that he is at least "average" on...

LOL but Skip Bayless loves him!! Would take him over Aaron Rodgers!!! LOL

I agree with T Sizzle. (Terrell Suggs) Most NFL QB's don't have to pray on the sidelines in the 4th quarter because they don't absolutely suck the first three quarters of the game.

Considering he played at Tampa during Favres prime, he had no chance of even making the playoffs with the Bucs.

He did 'this' while in college:

Why not with time the same in the NFL? Get ready to start licking the egg off of your face as Tebow's career 'evolves' and he becomes a premier Pro QB....this is only his 2nd yr in the pros....

Anybody remember the Joe Theismann controversy of back when:

Joe Theismann, many felt he was too small to play QB in the NFL when he first came out of college.

According to Theismann, he was told he was too slow and not strong enough.

    And when the dust settled.......

And then they talk about Tebow's 'poor mechanics,'...anybody remember Tom Matte of the Baltimore Colts? A white fullback with no moves, nicknamed a 'garbage -can runner,' who took them to winning Super Bowls and was a Pro-Bowler. He had 'the heart' to be a winner.

And then there was Larry Csonka, a big fullback (235lbs back then was considered as 'big') with nothing fancy, but when he hit the line there was a slow-moving mass of humanity going fwd, often dragging tacklers 5–10 yards., and he led the Dolphins to Super Bowls and a record season 17-0 . More 'heart' than pure talent that drove him.

I don't follow college stats since they mean absolutely nothing in the Pro's... The best QB's... RB's... WR's and all the others, were never number 1 picks - usually after the first round...

Tebow is just another hype. I will be more than happy to eat crow if he becomes a "machine" in the NFL...

    But, right now, he sucks...

    VERY GOOD POINTS!!!

But, there are several players that have big hearts that still suck... I don't get on bandwagons... When he starts playing good, I'll give him his props, but while he's sucking golf balls...

    He's still sucking...

Actually, I'm more concerned about the Denver Defense against the Pats.....dont think that they can stop Brady. But if Tebow still scores 20+ points against them, will YOU still bad mouth his performance?? Or are YOU just a shallow win/loss pseudo-pundit?!

How about throwing 300+ against the best passing defense in the league? How about smashing playoff OT passing records? How about turning a 1 - 4 team into division champion?

Tebow is working the the team he was given. In all likelihood, other QB's would have similar stats given the same team and circumstance. Stats don't tell the whole story. Stats don't take into consideration coaching and player weaknesses. Wins tell a much better story.

I give it to the coaching staff... Not Tebow... until he can throw the ball "effeciently" then he gets nothing from me... No kudos...

    He sucks...

Yep. Another running QB. Will Tebow ever get to that level? Hell no. Can they develop him to being a (*)(*)(*)(*) good QB? We shall see.
