How can states with huge cities like New York, Houston, Chicago, and Los Angles not make the list? People in those cities are jammed together in noise filth and crime.

Why don't you post a list of the states with the most debt and most likely to go into default.

Saying this is a good thing is tantamount to pointing at the guy who gets as many credit cards he can get, maxes them out and is living the good life on credit and saying that's a good idea.

While that guy may enjoy the short term more and his life short-term may be better than others... his downfall is inevitable and the consequences for his behavior will be dire.

    To be fair.

New Mexico had a Democrat Governor from 2003-2011
Oklahoma had a Democrat Governor from 2003-2011
Tennessee had a Democrat Governor from 2003-2011
West Virginia has had a Democrat Governor since 2001
    Arkansas has a Democrat Governor

The rest were flip floppin between the parties. Economic change and standard of living changes don't happen quickly in most places. Tulsa for example where I work has a really low unemployment rate of 4.5%. and according to Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._states_by_unemployment_rate one of the lowest in the country.

it is a bull crap dishonest study not one of their figures took cost of living in those states into consideration
a 25,000 a year income in those states would be the same as a 35,000 a year income in other states

It is partisan. It looks like all of the poorest states are traditionally led by Republicans.

    Here they are:

    1. Mississippi
    2. Alabama
    3. Arkansas
    4. West Virginia
    5. Tennessee
    6. Oklahoma
    7. South Carolina
    8. Louisiana
    9. New Mexico
    10. Georgia

But everything man does is natural because we are a part of nature.

So they are a natural disaster, just clarifying that.

Ouch. Appears ol' Natarooni hit a deep red nerve with this list. I speak for all the low-life loser leftist liberal lumpenproletariat (Dig that alliteration?) when I say that the socialist hellhole of Wash/Ore will be disappointed and worse off not to enjoy the boundless sunny joy and bubbly effervescent joie de vivre of all you patriots. I pray that Allah keeps all of you safe in your Citadels of tolerance, peace and love. Inshallah, Nat the Libertyless

That's odd, because when I researched this claim I discovered that the fastest growing cities in the east are Raliegh, Charlotte, Atlanta, and Orlando

    http://blog.davidweekleyhomes.com/2...t-david-weekley-homes-fastest-growing-cities/

Hilton Head is pretty much built out, so I don't see where you get that idea.

And if you want to live in the land of condos, cheap public golf courses, strip joints, malls, and souvineer stands, Myrtle Beach is your paradise (not mine).
