There were probably more people trying to get out at the airport than there were Taliban in Kabul, so if they had any guts they could have easily killed all of the Taliban.

It is America's failure to learn its enemies' cultures and values that resulted in defeat in Korea, Cuba, Vietnam, and Afghanistan. And, if it got into a shooting war with either Russia or China, chances are it would lose big time. Those countries are not like America and they think differently. The US probably pulled out of Afghanistan to get ready to fight North Korea,
