    If 99% of white men voted for a white man against a black man, you would be telling me that I was racist. Pot, meet kettle. I'm saying that any one group who votes for one person in that percentage isn't thinking for themselves.

    Why did you need someone else to tell you that? I have been saying for ages that the most important decision to be made in the next several months is WHO will be Biden's running mate.

    As an Aussie, would you want a crippled PM for Australia? That's why I have concern. If the country did unite around Trump, things could be possible(obviously they can't for their own reasons.). But with his declaring himself a lame duck from day one, even if the country "united" around Biden nothing of substance could or would get done since he's a lame duck.

    I would agree with that. I certainly feel that libs insult my intelligence blatantly. However, "most" is a long way from "virtually all". If you gave people a list of things the candidate stands for, not knowing anything else about them, they would vote a lot different. Hispanics don't vote like that, nor do any other group whether religeous, education level, wealth, or age. I just find it very odd.

    However, our system is very different from yours. To take up the basis of your question......if the choice was between an obviously likely demented bloke, and a liar, adulterer, a poozey grabber, a narcissist, a buffoon, a hopeless leader, a corrupt person, a bloke who pays off hookers for silence, a bloke who fantasises about his own daughter, a bloke who is accused in Court of child sexual abuse, a bloke with an 'impeachment' stamped on his forehead, a bloke who reckons using the national credit card to fund corporate tax breaks etc, a bloke who will not deliver on his own word (tax returns, Mexico will pay, etc etc etc) an idiot who failed the Nation on Covid.....I'll take the likely demented bloke, knowing that, while he might win the election, he will be gone shortly thereafter.

    That is why I say that THE most important decision Team USA will see taken in the next several months is who will be Biden's running mate.

    4 years is a long time (Jesus knows this 4 years has been). If Joe has both the House and the Senate, just grip something solid and hang on because many many many things will get done.

    That's the only foreseeable possibility in which things will get done(He'll still be a lame duck, but at least with a willing Congress to get things for him to sign.). So if you plan to vote Biden, you better vote completely on the down ticket. Otherwise, it's a muted vote if the Republicans gain the House and/or keep the Senate.

    House - Virginia 10th.. Jennifer Wexton should repeat (winning by 12.5% in 2018)
    Senate - Mark Warner could become chair of the Senate Intel Committee upon his reelection.. 2014 was a little tight for him, but Virginia is different today..
