kudos to Texas and about time states start taking matters into their own hands. Waiting 3 more years for a chance at not having an incompetent moron in the White House is simply a waste of time and lives. Get the job done and wait for a Republican President to pay your state back.

 

How did walls become racist (according to Democrats) when Democrats built over 900 miles of them before Trump?

Trump was not able to get Congress to approve funding for a wall.
First because of moderate Republicans, led by a Trump-loathing RINO Republican Speaker of the House, and then because Democrats took majority control of both houses.

 

Texas cannot afford not to build the wall. The costs in Illegal Aliens on medical, education, law enforcement, and infrastructure is crushing.

 

Dems paint everything as racist. That’s no longer as effective as people are waking up. The wall is happening, despite the lefts irrational opposition to it. No matter how much they stood against it, protested, rioted, ultimately they are powerless to stop progress.

And because it was Trump Biden's letting all the steel fencing we paid lay out there doing nothing. Texas even offered to buy it but Biden said no he'd rather it just sit there a waste of taxpayer money all because of Trump.

As for Tejas buying it, no problem, cost plus 30%. And not with any federal money.

 

If I was Texas, I wouldn't only build a Wall along the Mexico border, I'd also build a Wall along the New Mexico border to the west and Louisiana border to the East, that way the Illegals would have to sneak way up through either of those States in order to enter Texas. That might slow um down trying to walk along 100's of miles of border fence inside the United States.

 

Did have to ask YOU personally, that is why you have through your stated a Congressional delegation. Texas wants to buy it with THEIR money and THEY are doing the federal government and federal taxpayer the favor so how about 30% BELOW cost else it can sit there and rust it that would make you happy just to try and stick it to Trump.

 

There is still a lot of building materials on the ground near the border but Biden won't sell it to Texas.

 

My congressional delegation voted against the border wall. As stated previously, I'll tell my congressional delegation to sell it to Tejas for cost plus 30% with the caveat that no federal money gets used in the purchase. No favors for states who haven't vaccinated their residents ( short about 40% as of today) and who
continue to help spread COVID ( as in fighting against mask mandates ) thereby costing MORE taxpayer money, including federal funds.
