Does an article about "Women's rights" in Al Jazerra seem like an oxymoron?
Either way, the exceptions in the law need to play out.

good to hear both sides condemning this

    https://www.newsweek.com/outrage-texas-supreme-court-kate-cox-abortion-1850981

"Condemnation of the Texas ruling came from both sides of the political aisle."

"Incredible. The Texas Supreme Court tells a woman whose fetus has a non-survivable defect ( trisomy 18 ) she can't get an abortion even though the pregnancy is dangerous for her & may result in her being unable to have more children. Let her make her own decision!"

This is a case of hype trying to overturn rule of law. I'm glad Texas is standing up to it. If the woman really cared about having an abortion she could have got it done already in a neighboring state.

    What "EXCEPTIONS" would those be?

The FETUS in NOT viable, it is going to die either in utero or shortly after birth.

CARRYING a non viable fetus tp full TERM exposes the WOMAN to RISKS to both her HEALTH and her LIFE thereby exposing the BS about being "pro-life".

She is already a MOTHER and WANTED to have this child.

FORCING her to give birth could PREVENT her from ever falling pregnant AGAIN.

This case has EXCEPTION written all over it in GLARING NEON lights.

But the DUMBASS Texass Supreme Court REFUSES to recognize ANY exceptions.

Those MF's on the court need to be CHARGED with Willful Endangerment of a Human Life.

The fetus literally cannot survive outside the womb. Genetic testing verified. It literally didn't develop properly and will NEVER develop properly.
You're going to make this woman sterile or dead to birth a fetus that will live for hours even with herculean medical assistance.
You're going to require the torture of two persons.
Its abhorrent on multiple levels. If you want more births: This ain't the way to get them, you're going to likely sterilize this woman if she even survives carrying to term.

I would suggest you do a little research on valid unbiased medical sites before you start talking about death of mother and infertility.

Some insist that authoritarian politicians should control wombs. Paxton’s attorneys argued “a fatal fetal condition does not meet the medical exception.”

Forcing women to carry fetuses with fatal abnormalities to term is especially repugnant to decent folks.

Allowing medical experts to practice medicine is a very good idea.

    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/te...-woman-hours-she-leaves-state-obtain-abortion

Would you take fox news on the subject? That "unbiased" enough for you chief?

    https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/4354210-texas-abortion-ban-kate-cox-state-supreme-court/

Even Paxton's dumbass admits the child isn't going to do anything but suffer and then die when its born.

Yes once you outlaw it then organised crime steps in and i am betting there is a distinct illicit trade in abortion pills in the states restricting abortions

This does sound the “righteous” overlooking facts of the case with a blind eye… relative to their entrenched stance. Apparently it’s contagious on many levels. Sad

Your desperate attempt at diversion by falsely claiming that the border is "open" fails.

The President never proclaimed the border "open," and, in fact, undocumented families seeking asylum are being apprehended in record numbers.

Texans can't leave Texas without documentation? Got a source for that?

In order to "gain control" of Congress and the Oval office the Xtofascist controlled GOP has to find a way to STOP the LARGEST voting bloc in the NATION.

The largest voting bloc in the nation has CONSISTENTLY won every single election where Abortion has been on the ballot.

How does the Xtofascist controlled GOP intend to STOP that from happening AGAIN in 2024?
