Up to date, the events that have happened would have happened whichever policy of withdrawal was carried out

 

US Foreign Policy dictates that there will never be a complete withdrawal. Remaining will be CIA personnel and covert peace keeping "advisors"

 

Actually, I bet you voted for GWB, who got us into this mess. I bet you cheered the bombing and invasion of Afghanistan in 2001. Back then, Fox news talking heads like Hannity were saying that it is unpatriotic to criticize the president in a time of war and crisis, to shut up the opposition to the war. Look at them now, they are doing the exact opposite, using the crisis to clobber Biden. Are they unpatriotic?

Second, unlike the Trump c word that shall not be mentioned, Biden is not my master. I have criticized him in the past and he was my least favorite dem candidate. Could the Afghanistan pullout have been handled better? For sure. Could have been accomplished without Taliban takeover? Unlikely. I doubt, though, that you would like to have a rational discussion, you just want to take cheap political shots, just like Fox News.

Thats most likely because Biden ordered our troops to stay at the airport while Britain, Germany, and France put their soldiers in the city going door to door to get their people out instead of leaving their people to get to the airport on their own.
