Only if it turns out that we really can print unlimited sums of money without suffering any consequences. And who knows, maybe we actually can, because we've got the rest of the planet by the short and curlies. But only time will tell. (And of course, in 2021 nobody is sporting short and curlies anymore, but it's just an expression...)

I don't know enough about the actual bill to comment on it. Regarding infrastructure in general, I think a lot needs to be done, but it should be funded directly by users fees, primarily a weight/mile tax on the vehicles that use said infrastructure.

That's a lot of damn money to spend on a grill! Then again, I suppose some people would say the same thing about my TV/soundbar combination. But man, you really gotta see/hear this thing in action. It's unlike anything I've ever seen or heard, including in theaters except for the raw size. I was watching a show earlier and they had some scene with a press conference on the courthouse steps, and I told Mrs. Dentalfloss that it literally looked like I was standing on those steps with them. That's how clear it was. And the sound was literally coming directly out of their mouths, which I tested by closing my eyes and pointing my eyes in the direction of where I was hearing the sound. Boom, when I opened them, I was looking right at the lips of the speaker, assuming the scene hadn't changed.

Having other nations by the...whatever is called economic sovereignty and that's a big part of MMT. Besides being advocated by most modern economists it's also historically backed by the fact we won WWII right after 10 years of the worst Depression in all of the human experience.

Its good for big tech which Democrats like Speaker Pelosi invested heavily in prior to pushing for these checks.

Then it contributed more to the local economy than Trump's tax cuts.

On a related note, while I am not eligible for a recovery check, I am looking at Sony LED TV's as they are a brand I am loyal to and always solid. The OLED TV's seem like the new plasma TV's in being overpriced.
