Well, at 3-4, we are what our record says we are. I don't care about the QB position anymore. Whether it's Vick or Foles or Barkley(Why did we move up to trade for Barkley when we could've had Smith?) None of those guys are A: Good enough or in Vick's case even if he were good enough B: Young enough to lead us to the promised land in a few years.

I'm an Chip Kelly Believer, but I need to start seeing more of the sexy Oregon stuff. If we wanted the WCO, we would've kept Andy Reid.

I predicted a 6-10, or a 7-9 record and I'm sticking with it. Our defense had a great showing, that's not all too likely to last. Especially if somehow, we lose to the smurfs(I mean the Giants).

If that happens, we're bound for the top slots in the draft, get a Boyd or maybe a Mariota if he drops, stock up on defense, address offense some more in FA.

Because it's not just "bring back Maclin", the WR core as a whole is over-rated. Jackson's a #2 at best, and everyone else is an invalid.

The offense turns the ball over way to much...... slow it down!

    Sexy Oregon stuff?

Didn't you learn anything when Kelly had 2 bites at the SEC apple?

"sexy oregon" doesn't work against strong teams and thus, won't work in the NFL

"sexy oregon" is great in the PAC 12 and would possibly work in the Big 10. Now why would that be?

The best coach from the PAC is in Seattle and winning.

The results in KC are in no small part thanks to their new head coach

Kelly will get bounced after 2 seasons

Too bad about Nick Foles...he was the U of AZ (Tucson) QB who stood in the shadows of PAC-10 Stanford's Luck and USC's Barkley for 3 years, performing well considering he didnt have an offensive line or running game to 'help' him!

and a coach who is out of his element

Honestly, Kelly should have first tried his style in the SEC for 2-3 years to see if it might work in the NFL. Play 24-36 games in the SEC and you'll learn what does and doesn't work

Methinks Namvet is a Chiefs fan---you know, one of those terrible teams using Native-Americans for their pleasure!

    Where's the OP this week?!

My man Nick thru for 7 TD's, and could have gotten more except them pulled him out as a 'grace' move with such a high score and didnt want to run it up any more!

But they still do the T. Chop which was stolen from FSU! It's TOO MUCH to listen to all thru the game..

Btw, FYI: My HS History teacher married Lamar Hunt who took the Texans to KC back when. He has since died and now 'SHE' runs the org...I'll put in a good word for you..(she actually got better looking over the years!)

The Eagles are winning and the OP has disappeared from this thread!!!

Kudos to my boy, Nick Foles, for his 16 TD's so far & w/o an interception!!

Looks like I may have to become an Eagles fan......<yech, pooey,..>.

Yeah, Nick Foles has been a gangster this season.

    Drop it like its hot.gif

The Defense's also come alive and Bill Davis has my confidence for the rest of the season and going forward. Chip's like an overseer of everything and a more polite/humorous version of Bill Belichick.

    E A G L E S, EAGLES! We gonna beat down on them Cowgurls in week 17.

Chip Kelly has proven to be a great coach both in college and the pros. I'm glad that this current concept of system coach is being proven to be bull(*)(*)(*)(*).

You know who is a system coach? Nick Saben, that is a system coach. When you can go out and recruit an exact clone of the guy who just graduated so you never have to change your offense or your defense that is a system coach.

Chip Kelly made Oregon what it is by knowing how to work the system around the talent. He didn't have the luxury of just replacing one guy with an exact clone\. Yes he is a high tempo guy but the plays change greatly year to year based on the skill set of his talent.

That is what you need to succeed in the NFL because with free agency and the salary cap you don't get to clone the next generation of players perfect for your system. You get the best the GM can get at the position for the money you have and you have to make it work.

I've never been a big Eagles fan, but started to follow when 'our' U of AZ, PAC-10 (at that time) QB Nick Foles became their starter.

He is still out with a collar bone prob but shud be back for the playoffs when the Eagles beat the Kauboyz today, altho I'm not a Geno Smith fan, but to get Foles to the playoffs!......

Scratch Geno Smith....s/b Mark Sanchez---both Jets QB's, both wore & wear Green, and both marginal QB's at best.......

    E. A. G. L. E. S. That's funny ... I'm a Pennsylvania guy. Hate the eagles, doubt they will ever win a Super Bowl , but if they do I will move.
