You're trying to make out like Biden's economy is better than anything Trump had and that's just bullshit. Spend 50 trillion more and the GDP will be through the roof....and the economy will be lower than whale dung.

no one will say they are better off paying more for gas, heating, and groceries
so no it isn't subjective it is universally accepted inflation is bad for the average voting American

Actually, that was not my point. But it seems that we are in agreement that Trump was full of crap when he spouted off repeatedly about the GDP and how great for the economy he was.

What I meant was that it's different for different people, example: the prices rose significantly in my area over the course of 2020, but between pay increases and decreased spending by being home all of the time, my family realized a positive result. Not everyone felt this, and we are thankful to be in this situation, but that's what I meant by subjective.

No, we are not in agreement and no, Trump was not full of crap. Don't put words in my mouth. If you want to tout the kid diddler's economy, be my guest.

The Fake News article is spinning a 20% miss as a "gain" when it was no gain at all, the first estimate was simply off by a hair more than a rounding error. If you mismeasure your member and measure it more accurately a few months later, it's still the same size, it didn't "grow" in the interim.
A position quickly adopted by Obama/Biden supporters, reinforced by Trump consistently exceeding expectations.

because Trump had other indictors of his economy other then GDP
    as in
    little to no inflation
falling unemployment across the board lowest ever for black Americans
    medium incomed on the rise
    manufacturing jobs coming back

now you want to take one indicator the GDP and say look Biden economy is as good or better then Trumps while you ignore all the other
its more dishonest Biden sycophant bull crap

The point wasn't that Biden's economy was better or worse than Trump's, it was to point out that the metrics that Trump touts as proof of his financial genius isn't that reliable.
    Inflation: https://www.macrotrends.net/countries/USA/united-states/inflation-rate-cpi
    Unemployment: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unemployment_in_the_United_States
    Median income rates: https://www.statista.com/statistics/200838/median-household-income-in-the-united-states/
    Manufacturing jobs: https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/CES3000000001

As you can see, Trump wasn't particularly great at inflation and unemployment or manufacturing jobs, pretty much followed trends. Trump saw the trend, convinced some people that it was "bad" when it wasn't, and then took advantage of the trend already in place. Some people fell for it. The median income did rise under Trump at a higher rate. We could argue about whether Trump was the driver of that or not, but my only point is that Trump, nor any other president, is a big factor in how well the economy is functioning. Decisions by Congress have a much bigger impact on the economic factors. Gotta gooo......

When Trump had a 2.6%/year growth (before the pandemic), it was a historic achievement.

When Biden does 6.5%, he disappoints.

    It makes perfect sense.

Is it not amazing that many Trump supporters are ok with politics at any cost.

Lol leave it to dems to lie and pretend this admin is doing anything positive so far. Imagine being so willing to ignore context for partisan reasons, that’s such a left wing thing lol. Let’s ignore all forms of context and pretend the Biden economy is anything but garbage lol.

    par for the course
