Ron Paul is not the radical. His opinions are in line with the founders intent of limited govt. That applies domestically as well as internationally. The ones that are promoting big govt interventions, whether in the free market economy or overseas in sovereign nations, are the radicals whose policies do not line up with our founders. To all those who say Ron Paul is too radical or he is wrong about his foreign policy, you have it backwards. Good Night ~SC
Wrong. Small government is why we are 15 trillion in the hole. If only we had more government, they would create wealth and pay off the deficit. akephideltalpha will have to explain that phenomenon.
I have heard the argument against Obama being that he despises and ignores the Constitution, Most Republicans I know argue that we should stick to the Constitutional mandates in regards to economic concerns but it seems that only Ron Paul is willing to support all things the Constitution says.
This is true. Now, if you could only convince "conservatives" of this. But, it's not only about the Constitution. It's the fact that these prankster with an R or D next to their name cannot find anything to cut. Their cuts are simply cuts on future increases in spending. Government is its own special interest. No doubt about it.
Ron Paul is no more radical than any well informed citizen who would want their government to be more accountable and simply get out of people's lives. My only beef with Ron Paul is on foreign policy. Conservatives can be easily reasoned with to side with Ron Paul if they can overlook the foreign policy shortcomings and get off the Old Guard GOP teet. However many "so-called" conservatives wouldn't go anywhere near Ron Paul because he is too much associated by the "lunatic" fringe which I agree but he is a type of fringe that we need.
