When people are critical of those who commit atrocities and then claim that God told them to do it, did it occur to those critics that God may have ACTUALLY told them to do so.

    1) How do you argue with such inanity?

    2) Is this a call to the loonies, by Boortz, to blow up day care centers or gun down 67 17-year olds on an island?

I'll go along with that idea, as long as Boortz goes along with the idea that God told Congress the penalty for committing atrocities in the name of God is being burned alive at the stake.

I see these rightwing humps as sinister. He's actually preying on the weak minded and condoning mass murder. Not only condoning it but encouraging it.

Does it really matter? "Only following orders" have never been an excuse for committing atrocities. It would open a whole load of additional questions and issues if it were demonstrated to be the case but in the absence of such evidence, it's a moot point.

No question that you are going to suffer the consequences of God telling you to do something atrocious in this particular country. That's why we need a theocracy (he said facetiously).
