Nancy Pelosi wasn't asked to acknowledge Trump's presidency. It was a State of the Nation speech and she made a very good point about the contents of his stupid speech. What exactly is your problem with that?

Tearing up the speech was a felony. The Copy she was provided for the SOTU belonged, not to her, but to the American People, and by law it was to be deposited into the National archives. But we indulged the petty little brat and you're stuck with her for another 2 years. I fully expect her to cost you the House majority in 2022 and for her to accomplish little more than additional tantrums until then.

 

How are they supposed to acknowledge the President? Lick his feet after he's given a speech? How is that different than the Congressman who yelled 'You're a liar!' at Obama when he gave a speech to Congress?

I'm curious. How many torn up speeches would it take to equal one day of Trump playing golf at the taxpayers expense? Also, not convinced you are correct that tearing up her copy of a speech is a felony. That all sounds just a tad fascist to me....

 

I am fully expecting the biggest LOSER*-in-Chief to use his own "dementia" as a mitigating factor in his upcoming criminal trials.

 

To me it matters not what anyone thinks who ought to be President. The point of my starting this thread was telling Trump supporters to lower their expectations that things will go in Trump's favor in the days before January 20th.

If they enjoy the political theater of dismissed lawsuits and political maneuverings that ultimately lead to nothing, that's fine. But I wouldn't gamble money that Biden will NOT be sworn in on January 20th. I could be wrong, but it seems Democrats have the win at least for January 20th. Move on to your next political priorities: another election, investigations, debt ceilings and government shutdowns, whatever floats your boat.

Biden has dementia. Sorry that you voted for and support a feeble-minded incompetent for POTUS. I will wager that you also were perfectly fine with accusing Trump of dementia, psychopathy, sociopathy, etc. with no evidence whatsoever while that was going on. OTOH, evidence of Biden's dementia presents whenever he opens his mouth without a teleprompter and lots of scripting and rehearsal.

 

I do admit that Biden is a bit more coherent lately, likely some cocktail of synapse burning chemicals from his CCP handlers. The crash won't be pretty, hell we may not even -see- Biden addressing anyone directly that isn't automated or intermediated. He may be the first "Max Headroom" President given the level of obvious handling that is required to keep him functional. Will Biden pass the Turing Test? Stay tuned.

 

Well, senior moments do not prove dementia. They are a very real sign of aging; and not related to losing touch with reality.

Heck - I keep calling one of our cats by the name of a cat we lost years ago. I don't have dementia; I assure you.

 

They will follow Trump's lead, and Trump certainly won't admit he lost. The only question is how extreme Trump will get.
