The Capitalization of Trumpism

I recently came across this turd fire that mimics a song.


And couldn’t help but think of the mass commercialization of Trumpism. And how Trumpism is a case of mass sloganeering.

Now, I’m not a fan of the term Trumpism, it’s a veil on the modern reactionary right that has been groomed by the media. But Trump has sparked a caravan of grifters to milk money off the saps obsessed with the culture war.

Crap art is marketed to these slobs(read the comments on YouTube.) Media channels are dedicated to fulfilling the fantastical delusions of an uninformed selection of the population.

Should I be surprised?

No, the liberal class has suffered the greatest delusion. That we have a democracy, and justice exists. They gain passage because their opposition is a satire.

A satire that some believe true.

i'm not listening again, but is it possibly satire on these bone spurred patriots who can't even bother to serve on jury duty?

 

I've said it before but I'll say it again: the election of Trump is proof of the failure of the US education system.

If there were only 10% more college and university graduates, a man like Trump would never have come close to winning the Republican nomination.

 

And yet, in the only objective study I have seen, republicans were better informed on current events than either democrats or independents.

 

55% of Republicans still believe, 8 months after the election, that Trump won.

The word "informed" doesn't apply to this group of voters.

Where is your study that proves me wrong?

 

Start by proving to me that Republicans are better informed.

 

In this study performed by Fairleigh Dickinson University, they asked nine questions. Republican's got each and every question correct more often than either democrats or independents.

You haven't read the study.

On page 8, of the respondents who answered 5 out of 8 questions correctly (62.5%), there are 82 Democrats versus 74 Republicans.

And this study is 10 years old ....

But I still find it interesting that the study confirms that those who listen to Fox are the least informed.

 

Your answer just shows a deficiency in your math. You picked a subset of answers and tried to apply it to the whole test.
The republicans answered each question correctly more often than democrats. It is mathematically impossible for the democrats to have a higher score than the republicans when each question was answered more correctly by republicans.

If you can come up with a later study which shows differently, please do.

 

So Democrats are still obsessing over Trump long after he has ceased to be President.

Whether that is a fact is questionable, because they never really asked whether they watched Fox exclusively. That was some kind of analysis.

No, the system failed at teaching people - all people, children and adults - how to think independently, critically, and without emotion.

The old adage, "conservatives think, liberals feel" is decades out of date.

Today's truth is this. Conservatives, moderates and liberals think, extremists on both sides feel. We've seen the result of one extreme in power. If you don't want to see the other extreme take control, the wise thing to do would be to mellow out. Moderate your views.

The wording in the analysis was that they got their news from only one source.

They did not ask whether someone got their news from one source. They asked if they got any of their news from that source any time during the week.

 

Says the guy the supports a democratic party that kowtows to celebrities like 16 year old groupies chasing rock stars.

 

The cash cow that keep on giving. It still amazes me and will always.

 

I'm not so sure that's still true. It used to be Republicans I knew turned off Faux to listen to Rush. Now, its Faux 24/7/365.
