The word GAY stands for confusion. What word long meant happy? If homosexuals are anything, they are in general more miserable. Oh I know of the homosexuals that were in my family. There may still be one living. The rest died.

How fast Democrats are to lash out at their own country. So why did you evade the question as to Muslim nations tossing homosexuals off the tops of buildings? Are you aware that in some cases they were shredded in tree shredding machines?

 

Why did you fall for them saying GAY? I grew up in the greatest generation and even the politicians never said that word for homosexuality. Then GAY meant happy.

A topic I have never at any point seen discussed at my church is your apparently favorite topic. Christian bashing or homosexuality. We do not see homosexuality as normal nor do we see Polio as normal. But we do not make a practice of trying to run down humans who are homosexuals. They must come in the open to discuss it. But as a rule we do not bring this up. My own brother died as a homosexual and as a church member too. I never saw any member of the church tear into him due to him being a homosexual.

Islam was not at issue, but here is what is almost my signature.

Both Christianity and Islam, slave holding ideologies, have basically developed into intolerant, homophobic and misogynous religions. Both religions have grown themselves by the sword instead of good deeds and continue with their immoral ways in spite of secular law showing them the moral ways.

Jesus said we would know his people by their works and deeds. That means Jesus would not recognize Christians and Muslims as his people, and neither do I. Jesus would call Christianity and Islam abominations.

Gnostic Christians did in the past, and I am proudly continuing that tradition and honest irrefutable evaluation based on morality.

That is one theory, or hypothesis among many, without the evidence to actually support it. But this Paul character, IMO, has always been suspect, given he was the self appointed apostle(if you believe that Christ had chosen apostles, chosen my himself).

The RCC used the idea of apostalic succession to justify God's representative on earth, given it is believed that Peter was the first so called Pope.

For me, and employing Occam's Razor, I think that JC did exist, and actually did have a teaching that contradicted some of the accepted teaching and theology of Judaism, via their priests and other officials. I also do not think that Buddha left any written down teachings, but were created by those who knew of him, perhaps even listened to him, later on, after his death. Since the same thing happened with christ, it seems that the founders of both belief systems, didn't see the importance of personally putting down their teachings, and we must then trust those who came after to be accurate in giving us those teachings. Thing is, I cannot trust a human being to be accurate and non biased, as a product of their own era and conditioning. Afterall, look at all of the documents that the early church would not accept and tried to even destroy them, because they were deemed heretical. Just as many of the teachings of JC were seen as heretical by the religious authority of his time.

There is speculation by some that a Roman created the Jesus character as a way to dilute Judaism after the rebellion in the First Century. We know that Hadrian created a religion with his boyfriend as the deity and had temples built to worship him.
