I like Jon Stewart because he makes fun of both sides of the political spectrum equally. Here is the Daily Show's recent segment on the OWS featuring Samantha Bee. http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/wed-november-16-2011/occupy-wall-street-divided
Is that the one demonstrating the class warfare inside of the Park? I was looking for it earlier, but my slow internet and the live feeds I am watching proved too laborious.
I saw the clip. I thought it was funny too. However, Jon Stewart does not make fun of both sides of the political spectrum EQUALLY. Only now has he started making fun of the OWS. Before he was cautiously, advocating, and promoting them.
Yes, it's the one that divided the groups into Uptown aristocrats and Downtown poor. I just noticed that someone else posted about this earlier and I unintentionally made a dupe thread; maybe a mod can merge them.
No, he doesn't. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdW4geJ-lik"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdW4geJ-lik[/ame]
No he doesn't. He waits until a given left wing target is known to be fair game like OWS. He sees that they are slipping into huge disfavor with the populace, so now it is safe.
What more needs to be said everyone should have an Ipad, but they can't have mine. It's my personal possession
I don't watch the show. I just come across funny clips now and then, and I've seen him satirize both sides. Maybe it seems equal to me since I don't watch it every day. Also, I know a bunch of progressives who went to D.C. for Jon Stewart's event last year or whenever it was, and they seemed disappointed that he did NOT promote their views like they expected.
That clip is amazingly funny.......and right on the money. The elitists............and the moochers.............. Meeting in the lobby of the bank......"uh ......does the drum circle know we are here?" "Didn't even have time to create a middle class to crush." LOL
Yeah, what an idiot. He is against "private property" for others, but in favor of "personal property" for himself that he won't share. Typical lefty.
