The Republican Party is splitting itself into two factions, the Right and the extreme Right and that is going to be the end of the party.

‘Nobody Is in Charge’: A Ragged G.O.P. Stumbles Through the Wilderness
With no unified agenda or clear leadership, Republicans face the prospect that the anti-establishment fervor that has powered the party in recent years could now devour it.

This is what is happening in a visual way:

But the left and the extreme left is not a problem. Right?

"Republicans find themselves mired in intraparty warfare, defined by a fringe element that seems more eager to tear down the House than to rebuild the foundation of a political party that has faced disappointment in the past three national elections."

It's not like the Dem's don't have internal disagreements. They do. But the party has shown that it can unify around a core set of principles to move the country forward. Largely because of Nancy Pelosi's leadership.
There is no real leadership in the House. There is Kevin, who has no real power, the Crazies, who have the power to be disruptive, and the rest of the caucus who pay lip service to traditional conservative values but are more interested in the politics of grievance.

~ Trump-O made significant change in the Republican Party — pushing it from a lazy "go along to get along " to more closely aligned with the common people. He showed what could be accomplished in only one term if an administration is committed to goals — not answering to special masters and global influence.
His infusion of truth in pointing out the flaws in the party itself and the corruption in government agencies set both parties on TILT .
It's very likely that if the USA is to remain a bastion of liberty, human rights, independence and opportunity both parties will soon be transformed. They must be pushed to work together with a common goal for the citizens — not the Party. This will only happen if "we the people " demand it. The dumbing-down of society must end.
    Only time will tell ...

It is hilarious that a rich egotistical man (Trump) would even know what the common people need and want. Trump is the farthest thing from a common person as he has no morals, ethics, principals or humanity. That brings up the question as to whether those same things are traits of the common people? A country with no morals, ethics, principles, humanity, respect for the opinion of others, and a mountain of selfishness and greed for power has never been a positive for a nation surviving, and much less surviving well.

Its hard to get unified in a party where people are allowed free thought. It will never run as smoothly as the democrat HIVE/BORG party does.
That being said, I'll gladly take the house in your photo over this any day!

The Democrats are not attacking each other publicly the way the Republicans are. So, no--- it's not a problem for them.

All I can say is that we have 332 million people in the U.S. If everyone of us acts independently and no one works together, we will have neither your pic or mine/

This is what we will have:

Not one bit. Especially this "extreme left" you mention, which is such a non-nuisance that it doesn't even exist. Pretty much like the monsters under your bed. They might scare you, but they are both imaginary.

This is different from the usual claims that they are blind followers doing what their leader tells them. So now they come in different levels of rightness? Keep in mind that its all a matter of perspective. From the view of the far left, a centrist is considered extreme right.

He may be on YOUR list of best Presidents but historians do not agree with you. Most every historian has him either the worst of one of the 3 worst.

Nonetheless, on the left they do seem to work as one but on the right, they are on almost opposite sides.

Historians? :roflol: You mean opinion writers? History usually takes decades to establish itself. Usually with the passing of a generation.

    The left can only dream.

Ironic this is their cheer as the Democrats that used to say things like "ask not what your country can do for you, but what can you do for your country" has been replaced with quit quitting and demands to pay their loans.

People will ALWAYS work together, it's the foundation if a barter and trade society. Government intervention and lockstep lemming mentality not needed.

~ I go by results — not opinions
Any "historian " who puts the Trump Administration in a negative is no expert. These are the same bone brain shills who think Obama was great. All part of the dumbing-down of society.
    Congratulations !
~ Today's Democrats are a different breed. They live in Fantasy Land ...

My guess is that the democrats aren't allowed to veer from the established opinions at least in public.

the left needs to tamp down the extreme woke, being woke is great, being crazy woke is extreme, and they will be in power for the foreseeable future, most are sick of the extreme on the right

Pretending there is not a contingent of the far left that matches the stupidity of the far right is not helpful.

Again, you believe that but you use only words to make your point. The historians that say differently have set of guidelines (not opinions) that they go by. What guidelines are you using? How are you comparing Trump to the other 44 presidents? Comparison is the basics for historians to make their lists. Can you do the same and prove your point? Words based on opinions are worthless.

Unfortunately, government/laws/regulations are always needed given that humanity by nature is selfish, greedy, and unprincipled and therefore there needs to be something and someone that sets the rules and enforces them. Otherwise, the strongest and richest will ALWAYS win.
